Six-hexagram method is a comprehensive prediction method, which combines sixty-four hexagrams and sixty flowers in the Book of Changes, uses stem branches, mainly uses soil branches and five elements to restrain, and combines divination with six gods.
The key to the six-hexagram method is the dry branch and the sixty-four hexagrams of the Yijing. The emergence of cadres and party branches is much earlier than rumors. Now we have the knowledge of using only the main branches to predict, such as the four pillars, which is what we often say. There are also methods that only use sixty-four hexagrams to predict, such as the number of plum blossoms.
At this time, we can't help but ask, since we can use both dry branches and grapevine, why should we create such a nondescript forecasting method that combines the two methods? The answer is the easy way. That is to simplify things.
Any arithmetic method is a model, and any prediction is previewed with this model. For example, the eight characters use dry branches, the dry branches and five elements are clear, and the five elements are clear from generation to generation. In this way, this method is somewhat formulaic. (For the record, there is no intention to praise or criticize a certain method) So, it lacks flexibility. And gossip is very flexible, such as plum blossom, playing divination at will and emphasizing all practice. Seeing magpie can be considered as happiness, seeing black can be said as divination, wine and disaster. So this is very flexible, and the specific application needs too much experience.
Therefore, the ancients created a method that can be used to maintain its clarity; The method of applying gossip to make it flexible is also six hexagrams. The establishment of the six-hexagram method makes it unnecessary for us to rely on obscure hexagrams in divination, which makes this method popularized and simplified.
Let's talk about history first, which is easier to understand. Branches and branches are the earliest, and there should be three ancient styles (Daoism, Taiyi and Liu Ren) in ancient times. Of course, Yuan Hai Zi Ping and other books think that the main branch began in Yao. Later, the Book of Changes appeared and was considered as Gao Gui. "Zhou Li Dabu" said that Yi San, Zhang Bu, was named Lianshan, Guizang and Zhouyi. It can be seen that there were no six hexagrams at the beginning.
During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, the Five Elements Theory began to flourish, and the Yin and Yang School was highly respected at that time. For example, Zou Yan, which was noticed at that time, was given a grand reception in all countries. But Confucius, the founder of Confucianism, ran into a wall everywhere, from which we knew the prevalence of yin-yang theory. It was not until the Han Dynasty that the sixty-four hexagrams of the Book of Changes began to divide the palace, and all the people who divided the palace were disciples of Confucius. The Book of Changes began to be distributed, advocating school changes and diviners. It can be said that the two factions are arguing endlessly, but the rulers attach importance to rationality. Therefore, the number of divination in later generations is often called the method of making a living by charlatans, which is also the result.
In the Han Dynasty, with the development of the Book of Changes, heresies began to rise, and later generations created countless heresies (I don't know exactly, from some divination books, such as the Book of Changes, there are more than 700 kinds of heresies). Therefore, later generations relied too much on divination and ignored the reasons. So the prediction deviation is very large.
Although there were masters in later dynasties, such as Wang Bi and Guo Pu in Jin Dynasty; Li and Yuan Tiangang in Sui and Tang Dynasties. However, as far as the Yi-ology is concerned, it was not until the Song Dynasty that the origin was re-established and the five elements were restored. During this period, great masters came forth in large numbers and various mathematical methods emerged one after another. For example, Shao Yong founded the plum blossom easy number, and Taoist Ma founded the fire bead forest. Huozhulin is also called six hexagrams, because the six hexagrams method has a divination process, so it is also called Najia hexagrams.
After that, Liu Yi was excavated by generations of masters, such as Liu Bowen in the Ming Dynasty. The book "Golden Strategy" has always been regarded as a classic of Liu Yi. The greatest contribution of "Jin Ce" is that six hexagrams return to the five elements, and get rid of the theory of ghosts and gods that has imprisoned everyone for a long time. In the Qing Dynasty, a large number of six famous books appeared, such as Add and subtract divination, Authentic divination, Yi Mao, Yi Yin and Lin Yi Bu. The six-hexagram method has gradually matured.
It can be seen from here that the formation process of this method is very long, and it has experienced countless efforts of predecessors. Among arithmetic methods, hexagram is almost the most grounded. For example, Daoism has always been regarded as the art of emperors. Six hexagrams are widely circulated among the people.
For accuracy, it is certain that the accuracy of the six-hexagram method is very high. Personally, I think there are several reasons: first, ask questions about specific things and tell the truth, unlike the eight characters that are aimed at a person's life. Of course, six hexagrams also have life-long hexagrams, but in most cases, they are very clear questions; Secondly, it can perfectly combine the certainty of the five elements with the flexibility of gossip, so that the number of images can be perfectly combined and convenient for application; Third, it matured late and experienced the inheritance and development of countless predecessors. If you study the skill number, you will find that Liu Yi has almost the most books, so the skill number is relatively mature.
Of course, there are advantages and disadvantages, and the six principles are accurate, but many things are insufficient, especially the general direction and long time. Because there are many people studying, books are messy and many theories are at odds, beginners are easy to be at a loss; Six hexagrams used both dry branches and gossip, which led many people to introduce the theory of pure dry branches and gossip into six hexagrams at random, so that six hexagrams became a hodgepodge and countless absurd theories were born. These theories can be said to be inseparable now, which leads to the difficulty or inaccuracy of getting started.
But anyway, this is a very good method. The ancients have passed away, and we still need to work hard to inherit and develop.
