The complete works of Wang Yangming's mind is the essence of China's ancient philosophy that must be read all his life!

Text/radio reading

Introduction: Wang Yangming is a master of "Mind Learning" in Ming Dynasty, and his wisdom and talent reached the peak that ordinary people could not reach at that time. The number of words is 26247, which is published in five sections. Thanks for reading.

It is believed that Wang Yangming is worthy of being "the father of modern world psychology". Even the first-class modern western psychologists such as Freud, Lacan and Jung lamented themselves. For example, Lacan's research advocated the mirror image theory of "people live in words" and "cutting", which was popular in Europe a hundred years ago and attracted more than 1,000 lectures every day. When the European economy is very developed, people's hearts are extremely empty. Just like France before the Great Revolution, it is not surprising that China has just entered or is crossing the "middle income trap" stage, and psychology has become a popular course. Lacan, the psychological tutor at that time, was still confused about "where is the ego" and put forward western questions such as "who am I" and "I am missing in the mirror". He finally succumbed to the oriental wisdom of "nothing outside the heart", thus guiding millions of Europeans to realize "self, id and superego" quickly.

I hope everyone will read it carefully. Attached is the original text of Reading @ xiaobo, and a few words are slightly proofread to simplify the reading time and try not to lose the original intention. I forgive you, too.

Thought and practice of psychology

Just as kung fu is outside poetry, knowledge has come from practice since ancient times. Never underestimate the word "practice". Wang Yangming's mysterious wisdom comes from his psychological thoughts and his efforts. The "mind" in "the study of mind" refers to the spiritual consciousness and the cognitive ability resulting from it. As Wang Yangming said: "The master of the body is the heart, the heart is the meaning, the noumenon of the meaning is knowledge, and the meaning is the thing." In his view, the heart is the master of the body and everything. When the mind is calm and unmoved by external things, its great wisdom will appear. As the saying goes, "this guilty person is not ignorant, everything comes out for various reasons", and everything is natural and unthinking.

Instinctive wisdom to thoroughly understand good and evil, distinguish right from wrong.

? This book takes Wang Yangming's own experience as the main line and Yangming's mind as the soul, and deeply analyzes the mystery of mind. Therefore, readers can understand that the way of thinking of the mind is lively and free, which contains instinctive wisdom that can thoroughly understand good and evil and distinguish right from wrong. If we can choose good and make use of it when dealing with specific problems and improve our spiritual realm, we will certainly glow with new vitality in contemporary life and work at an extremely tense pace.

Chapter 1: Preface.

Wang Yangming (1472- 1529), born in Ming Dynasty, whose real name is Shouren and whose real name is Bo 'an, was born in Yuyao, Zhejiang. When I was young, I studied in Yangming Cave in the Moon, hence the name Yangming.

Wang Yangming was a master of psychology in the Ming Dynasty, and his wisdom and talent reached a height that others could not reach in that era.

He hasn't been able to speak since he was five years old, but he is very talented and smart. The teenager went to Beijing to study with his father, and he was bold and unrestrained with a wide range of interests. Qin, chess, calligraphy and painting are all proficient, and three religions and nine streams are all thorough. When I was in my twenties, I learned the Art of War, which laid a solid theoretical foundation for many expeditions.

Wang Yangming's mysterious wisdom comes from his mind. The mind of the science of mind refers to the spiritual awareness of the mind itself and its cognitive ability. He believes that the mind is the master of the body and everything. When the mind is calm and unmoved by external things, its own powerful wisdom will appear. As the saying goes, "this kind of guilty conscience is not ignorance, and everything will come out."

In his view, the noumenon of the heart is integrated with everything in the world, and there is no distinction between good and evil. Good and evil come from the germination of our thoughts. Pointing out that "understanding things" is to eliminate all kinds of distractions and let the heart return from the abnormal state of biased out of control to the "neutral state", so as to show the original wisdom.

The way of thinking of Mind is lively and free, and it contains instinctive wisdom that can thoroughly understand good and evil and distinguish right from wrong.

Chapter II: Self-introduction.

Confucian academic thought of "self-cultivation, keeping the family in harmony, governing the country and leveling the world" contains profound oriental wisdom. This kind of wisdom is a philosophical thought based on "the unity of man and nature".

? In this state, the mind gets rid of the interference of environment and external objects, and its original great wisdom is revealed. That is to say, only when people are integrated with the laws of nature can they master natural things, and only when they get rid of all kinds of biased emotions and unrealistic delusions can they exert their potential delicately.

Wang Yangming's mind method is precisely this realm of harmony between man and nature. Wang Yangming said: as for mountains, rivers, ghosts, birds, animals and plants, you don't have to kiss them, so that we can be one. When man and nature reach an unprecedented harmonious relationship, the soul can find a place to stay and gain an inner sense of happiness and settlement.

Wang Yangming inherited Mencius' theory of mind and nature in order to seek the origin, and the way of "harmony between man and nature" is to get rid of selfishness, desire and perfection. Specifically speaking, it is "knowing by observing things", "eliminating desires" and "consciously".

Chapter Three: The Mystery of Wang Yangming

Many people think that Wang Yangming is a mysterious and almost absurd figure, and countless anecdotes have been with him all his life since he was born. For example, when he was born, his grandmother dreamed of auspicious clouds, so she named him Wang Yun.

? At the age of five, Wang Yangming could not speak, but he was able to speak immediately after he changed his name to Shouren. These are all unverifiable legends. Wang Yangming's life is full of legends and many mysteries.

? 17 years old, Wang Yangming played "missing" on his wedding night, went to the Taoist temple to talk with others and meditated all night. Wang Yangming's calligraphy level also improved rapidly overnight, and he wrote superb words.

/kloc-when he was 0/8 years old, Wang Yangming came home from Beijing, and met a master on the way to give directions, which greatly changed his mind. At the age of 22, Wang Yangming took the exam and failed the list twice in a row, but he was not depressed.

At the age of 26, Wang Yangming became a monk halfway, and began to study Sun Tzu's art of war and the secrets of various art of war, which has reached a superb level.

At the age of 35, Wang Yangming was appointed as the director of the Ministry of War. But Liu Jin, the eunuch, was angered by his careless words and was sent to Guizhou Longchang Station as an agent.

During the exile, Wang Yangming went home. Xu Ai became a disciple of Wang Yangming and began to explore the soul with Wang Yangyang.

Chapter four: Mystery based on action.

? Wang Yangming was sent to Longchang and went through a lot of hardships. This is the hardships of Wang Yangming's life, and it is also a hurdle. After gradually adapting to the harsh environment, he had the mentality of being safe when he came, and gradually integrated into the environment. Over time, after all, he didn't want to end his life flatly and lightly, and once again he encountered inner challenges. Maybe God gave him a chance to hone his mind. In the dragon field, facing the complicated environment and difficulties, he understood a truth: as long as a person's nature is not bound by selfish desires, he can overcome any difficulties by his own understanding and actions.

Chapter 5: Control your emotions at any time.

Wang Yangming has read a lot of poetry books since he was a child, and he yearns for the mentality of "not being complacent" of the ancients. During his three years in Longchang, he went through hardships and personally experienced an unforgettable realm. So I abandoned all my illusions and began this inner difficult exploration. He believes that a person's talent is not limited to one aspect. If you get through a joint in your heart, you can handle everything easily. This is the Confucian ideological personality in talent training: all-rounder.

? Coincidentally, he was lucky to reach such a high level. From then on, he was reborn and made a different Wang Yangming. By imitating ancient sages, Wang Yangming realized a way to change his mood quickly. This is the wisdom of "initiation". Using people's subjective initiative to transmit positive energy to the heart is to eliminate all kinds of negative emotions such as resentment and fear of difficulties, so as to completely transform their emotions and behaviors. In fact, all these mood changes are just an idea.

Although the power of thought is powerful, only when thought enters the subconscious can it be transformed into powerful energy. In the face of complex environment, if you can control your heart, you will not be controlled by the outside world and fall into chaos.

First of all, we should cultivate our mentality of accepting reality, give up complaining about the world and others, and let our hearts deal with everything we encounter calmly, calmly and optimistically. Only in this way can a person exert great energy in his heart and do things best.

Chapter 6: The unique wisdom of knowing things.

The origin of the theory of mind can be traced back to Zhou Dunyi, a great scholar in the Song Dynasty, and then began in Chen Baisha. Chen Baisha has a brother, Lou Liang, who is a master of self-cultivation. This man is a legend. It is said that we can change from "seeing people and knowing things" to "being sincere after a prophet". /kloc-when he was 0/8 years old, it was this man-Lou Liang that Wang Yangming met on his way home. Under the guidance of an expert, Wang Yangming has always kept his knowledge of things in mind.

Zhu believes that to discover conscience, we must contact things, study things and discover laws. Will lead to the emergence of "conscience." The so-called object-oriented is to understand the essential laws of things and the highest level that a person's cognition can reach.

At first, Wang Yangming was deeply influenced by Zhu's thought of understanding things, so that he studied the essence of things sleepless nights. But I couldn't find the true meaning, so I began to study the Six Classics of Confucianism and looked for teachers and friends everywhere. At the same time, practice meditation and cultivate one's morality. Ten years later, he still got nothing. In the process of this exploration, he found a new way to understand how a person's mentality affects his cognitive ability. This is also the enlightenment of the mind. From then on, he learned about the noumenon of the heart through his own cultivation, thus gaining an instinctive, efficient and intuitive cognitive ability similar to "inspiration".

Chapter 7: Understanding the ultimate secret of the mind.

"The tree wants to be quiet but the wind will not stop", "Peace of mind is naturally cool" In the harsh environment of Longchang, he gradually calmed down. At first, he thought there was only waiting for death here, and began to meditate and practice every day. Finally, one day, Wang Yangming realized his true "self", his mind had a place to live, and his wisdom was maximized. This is Wang Yangming's: Longchang Enlightenment. He understands that the conscience in the so-called "understanding of things" lies in everyone's heart. Eliminate all kinds of interference from the environment, such as the temptation of sound, color, fame and profit, and get rid of the shackles. Only when people get rid of the shackles can they truly have strong power in their hearts and dare to undertake everything in the world.

We should constantly adjust our consciousness and enter a state of tranquility, nothingness and ultimately nothingness. With the improvement of knowledge and the deepening of understanding of things in the world, we can control our emotions flexibly and freely in inaction.

The strength of the mind lies not in conquering external things, but in knowing the true "self".

Chapter 8: The Power of Creating Everything

After the enlightenment of Wang Yangming's theory of mind, he merged with everything, had a natural mentality, and began to have the power to explore the essential laws of everything. Confucianism believes that self-cultivation and understanding nature are the highest realm pursued by gentlemen, and the next step is to be a saint. The so-called sage is to clarify one's true nature, gain insight into the laws of all things and gain great wisdom.

The "sincerity" emphasized by Confucianism is equivalent to a virtual state in which a person's heart is connected with external things, that is, a state close to the source in his mind. Only by reaching this state can we have a deep understanding of human nature and the laws of things, grasp the inherent nature between things, accept them naturally, and maintain a flexible and active attitude.

? He realized a little and felt that his mind had entered a brand-new world. He took the first step of the Long March from the enlightenment of Longcheng.

Chapter 9: What is the meaning of life?

Wang Yangming gave lectures all his life and had many disciples, but he always shared joys and sorrows with Yuan Heng. , Ji, word talent, Hunan people. I have loved Confucianism since I was a child to cultivate my self-cultivation. /kloc-When I was in my teens, I witnessed the death of my loved ones around me and began to explore the meaning of life.

The answer to the question of the meaning of life may be different due to personal experiences, feelings and moods. Today, most people feel that life is empty, they can't find anything worth fighting for, they feel that life is meaningless and people feel very painful. The ancients have long realized that the meaning of life must be found in their own hearts, not in external things, so as to obtain lasting happiness and peace.

In his early years, Wang Yangming gave lectures everywhere, and Ji was deeply impressed by his mind and worshipped him as a teacher. At first, Wang Yangming politely refused. After Wang Yangming's study of mind, Ji came to learn from the teacher again, which changed his life and destiny.

Chapter 10: Awakening a higher level of "ontology" thinking.

? After Yuan Heng and Xinjiang came to Longchang, they began to follow Wang Yangming's journey of enlightenment. Regarding the knowledge of "benevolence" in Confucian self-cultivation, Wang Yangming believes that everything in the world has "benevolence" It is gradually changing and deepening, and it promotes the development of all kinds of things with its fixed laws. Therefore, it is the power and source of all things. Only by calming down, slowly observing and slowly experiencing can we see it.

The "benevolence" advocated by Confucianism is actually the "Tao" mentioned by Taoism, which is the instinctive driving force of all things in the universe. We are controlled by external consciousness, because external consciousness is good at association, impetuous and unstable, which makes us prone to emotions. It is precisely because of these emotions that we block the same channel between nature and heart, obscuring our original energy and wisdom.

? To know "benevolence" is to know the wisdom of a psychological ontology. To call this higher-level "self" self, we need to be more focused and concentrate all our energy on it until we forget it. Enter the subconscious state of forgetting myself. This is the same as the theory of "cathode Yang Sheng" in China Taiji culture. Things are always in the constant alternation of contradictions, and when they reach an extreme, they will change in the opposite direction.

? The external consciousness belongs to Yin, and the internal subconscious or unconsciousness belongs to Yang. They need some conditions for mutual transformation. It is to require attention to a certain extent, dilute consciousness, relax self-control, and gradually change the normal state of consciousness control activities into a state in which instinct (subconscious) automatically controls its own activities, thus entering a supernatural state.

Chapter 11: What will happen if you don't keep thinking?

Wang Yangming went on to teach, "If you want to know benevolence, be Zhi Zhi". "Benevolence" is the original force that runs through everything. Zhi Zhi will decide later, then he will be quiet, then he will be calm, then he will be calm, then he will think, and then he will get it. Only when we reach a state of calm, tranquility and security can we think correctly. At this time, we can gain great strength from the instinct of the mind. Use your intelligence. This is the Confucian "counselor education".

Our daily thinking is easily disturbed and confused by the external environment. Often we can't calm down, but let us pursue material and spiritual satisfaction. This is an illusion. This kind of life lacks wisdom and the soul can't find a home, which makes us feel anxious. This uncertainty of thinking inhibits the original wisdom and light of the mind. To achieve lasting happiness, happiness and harmony, you need to calm down and learn to stop your thoughts without external interference. The thought here refers to the emotional interference from the outside world. What we should do is to do nothing, be sage inside and be king outside, cultivate self-cultivation and be proactive, and be calm and great.
