Brief introduction of Hangzhou Huokeji

The original Huokeji was destroyed in 1958, rebuilt by the Provincial Buddhist Association and the former Dongyue Village Committee in 1999, and completed in 2003. The rebuilt Huokeji covers an area of 100 mu, and consists of the mountain gate, Tianwang Hall, Mahayana Hall, Buddhist Temple, Ancestral Temple, Bell Tower and Drum Tower. It is an extremely important place for religious activities in the west of Hangzhou, offering sacrifices to Buddha statues.
