First, Maitreya Bodhisattva: Tolerance and Joy

As soon as I entered the King's Temple, the first thing I saw was Maitreya, with a bodhisattva in the middle. Maitreya created the image of a cloth-bag monk. What does he mean? The cloth bag monk has a big belly and a bright smile. He represents what qualifications he has to enter the Buddha: first, he must be generous and tolerant; Second, be merciful and accept all sentient beings with joy. Therefore, Maitreya represents-life equals heart, showing joy. We treat all sentient beings with a pure and equal heart and receive all people with a bright smile. This is a necessary condition for entering Buddhism. So he is teaching, you can't worship him as a god. That is wrong. You must understand its true meaning. Only when you understand it can you admire Buddhist education. You can't help praising it. This place is really full of great wisdom and perfect facilities. Knowing his educational significance to us is to worship bodhisattva.

Second, the Tibetan bodhisattva: filial piety

The Tibetan Bodhisattva shows filial piety to the teacher, so a Tibetan sutra is the Buddhist Sutra of Filial Piety, and we learn from this place. No matter which Sect or practice, it all starts with filial piety to teachers. Then expand the filial piety to teachers and all sentient beings. This is to worship bodhisattva.

Third, Guanyin Bodhisattva: Great Mercy and Great Compassion

Guanyin Bodhisattva expresses great compassion. Kindness is to make others happy, and sadness is to help others get rid of troubles and pains. Compassion for all, compassion for all, and saving all sentient beings are great compassion. To worship bodhisattva is to follow the example of bodhisattva, cultivate one's compassion, and benefit others and society. Because, to harm others is to harm yourself, to help others is to help yourself, to benefit others is naturally self-interested, and to love others is to love yourself.

4. Manjusri Bodhisattva: Wisdom and Skills

Manjusri Bodhisattva represents great wisdom, complete wisdom, and is absolutely not confused or emotional. Buddhism often says:' compassion is the foundation and convenience is the door'; But he also said:' compassion is harmful and easy to get dirty', which seems contradictory in comparison! In fact, it makes sense, because compassion and convenience should be based on reason and wisdom, and we should not be emotional or coquetry. Emotional, reckless, that is evil. If it is based on wisdom, compassion and convenience, it can be just right, skilled and altruistic, which is a real advantage. Therefore, worshipping Bodhisattva means learning to develop one's own wisdom, learn to be a man, learn to be skillful and convenient, and learn to stop.

Verb (abbreviation of verb) Samantabhadra Bodhisattva: Application and Practice

Bodhisattva Samantabhadra represents practice and applies and practices filial piety, compassion and wisdom in daily life. We can apply and implement filial piety, sadness and wisdom when dressing, eating, studying and working, and treating people. This is Pu Xian. To worship Bodhisattva is to learn the unity of knowing and doing and solve corresponding problems.

These are the four major topics for us to learn Buddhism-filial piety, sadness, wisdom and behavior. Think about it, where is the superstition in Buddhism? Really let us solve the mystery and enlighten! Then we can get rid of suffering and have fun.

Where does the pain come from?

From a mystery.

Where does the joy come from?

From enlightenment.

If I realize the truth of life in the universe, I will be very happy. If I know everything, I will be happy naturally. You can master this reality, you can freely use this reality and dominate this reality, instead of being dominated by the environment. Being dominated by the environment, this person is very painful! He has the ability to control the environment, control his own life and dominate everything. How could he be unhappy, unhappy? The key is to be fascinated and enlightened! The program of learning Buddhism on behalf of these bodhisattvas is to let us really understand Buddhism and put it into practice in our lives, so that we can really benefit.

Ps: Why do you worship Lohan?

Lohan is a student of Buddha. He heard about the Buddha's education and practiced hard to free him from his troubles and pains. When we worship and count Lohan, we must learn from Lohan, hear about Buddhism, and correct our wrong thoughts, words and behaviors, so that we can get happiness from suffering, be clean in body and mind, and live a happy life.
