1934, on a rainy night in St. John's College, Cambridge University, England, 20-year-old Guy (Stuart Townsend) was absorbed in his study when a door slammed open and a beautiful woman hurried into the classroom. Guy has never seen such a beautiful woman. It turns out that she is Gilda (Sally Theron), an Anglo-French hybrid who broke in to escape her boyfriend's entanglement.

Guy has just left his working-class family to study in Cambridge. He thinks that life will never change fundamentally again. They enjoyed sweet love and fashionable life.

Shortly after the outbreak of World War II, the two lovers finally broke up because of their different views on current events. Guy can no longer sit back and watch fascism ravage Europe. His letter to Gilda at the front is still on the mantelpiece.

In a very accidental opportunity, he found Gilda, who impressed him deeply, but she was accompanied by a German officer (Thomas Cochman), and they became enemies from then on. Other as usual, Gilda seems to care only about his own existence.

However, Guy began to feel puzzled about what happened later. At the last moment of Nazi dying, Gilda saved him in an ambush. Now, Gilda has become the number one suspect of the Germans, and she may die at any time. Guy must buy time to save her. ...
