Introduction of Xilai Temple in Liuzhou

Liuzhou Xilai Temple is located on the west side of Linjiang Lane, Yaru Road, facing Liujiang River. It is one of the existing ancient temples in Liuzhou. The name of the temple means that the founder of Buddhism came from the west of Tianzhu or the Buddhist scriptures came from the west. Xilai Temple was built a long time ago, also known as Xilai Ancient Temple. The earliest record was in the Ming Dynasty. It was rebuilt in the 1990s, forming the present building scale. There is a releasing dock of Xilai Temple near the Liujiang River in front of the temple.
