Where is the ancestral temple of Luyangzong? Is it in Xianyue Mountain, Liling, Hunan?

Xianyue Temple is located on the mountainside of Guibei in Xianyue Mountain Scenic Area, Liling City, Hunan Province. The rolling hills around form a huge lotus base and embrace it. Xianyue Temple is surrounded by mountains, with a wide view in the north and a wide view in the south. On the green hill on the left side of the temple stands a striking boulder, where the old monk Xu Yun once meditated and practiced. Liling City is located in the eastern part of Hunan Province, China, on the western edge of the northern section of Luo Xiao Mountains, adjacent to the Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Golden Triangle Economic Zone. On Xianyue Mountain, you can overlook the whole city and see the Lijiang River. The mountains are undulating and the trees are lush.

1978, Master Hong Yan came to Liling to practice Buddhism, and rebuilt the abandoned Zhong Kui Temple in 1989 and renamed it Xianyue Temple. He studied under Manjue, the ninth master of Lu. Elder Manjue (1907- 1995), a native of Xupu, Huaihua, Hunan Province, was a personal bodyguard of patriotic general Zhang Xueliang before becoming a monk. After becoming a monk, he was no longer an old monk. His name was Xu Yun, the first monk in Shinnyoji, Yunjushan, Jiangxi. At the beginning of the popularization of Xianyue Temple, Master Hong Yan had many auspicious images. He felt that the spring was dry and the water was gurgling, with the protection of Bodhisattva Wei Tuo. The master's compassionate mind and ambition of "eliminating suffering for all beings and not seeking happiness for himself" won the admiration of four disciples at home and abroad.

In order to inherit the wishes of Elder Manjue and the tradition of Yang Zong, Master Hong Yan planned to build Xianyue Temple into a ten-square jungle of Zen Buddhism in the upper and lower houses. Now it has built a magnificent Hall of Heroes, a monk's hut, and several Buddhist buildings. Guanyin Hall, Buddha Hall, Zen Hall, Haihui Tower, Tianwang Hall, Shanmen and Abbot Building are under construction. Xianyue Temple is moving towards the goal of "solemn territory, happy family". Master Hong Yan has been following the orders of Monk Manjue for more than 20 years. Now, Xianyue Temple has become a legal place for religious activities officially approved by the state. With more than 50 acres of property rights, the temple has begun to take shape and become a well-known temple for believers in Chinese mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan. Professor Pan Zongguang, a world-famous scientist and former president of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, visited Xianyue Temple three times in 2009 and praised Xianyue Temple for its strong style.

According to legend, in the Tang Dynasty, Bodhisattva Zhong Kui appeared and a witch threw a sword into the sky. Where did the sword end up? She chose to build a temple here, which is the original Zhong Kui Temple. In the Qing Dynasty, it was renamed Niuwang Temple, also called Xiyue Temple. Master Hong Yan changed from 1989 to Xianyue Temple. It turns out that there are only immortals here, but no monks. When I was in Xiyue Temple, there were two monks, one named Shi and the other named Yuanji. The master is a descendant of Lu, and the old monk Manjue gave him a dharma name. Manjue Ancestral Temple, a descendant of the Ninth Huiyang School, is located in Weishan Ancient Cave, the Dojo where monks became monks in Jian Zhen. It was destroyed in the Cultural Revolution, so Master Hong Yan was asked to find a temple not far from Weishan. When Master Hong Yan first came to Xiyue Temple, his disciples Yan De, Yan Dao, Yan Jun and Yan Shi, an old monk from Yunjushan, Jiangxi, often came to the temple to practice. Old monk Tiguang, the abbot of Jingju Temple in Qingyuan Mountain, Jiangxi Province, also went to Xianyue Temple to practice.

Master Hong Yan rebuilt the ancestral temple Xianyue Temple four times. 1994, the old monk Xu Yun inherited the abbot of Hong Kong Baolian Temple and donated 5,500 yuan from Guangdong to build a temple in Xianyue Temple. The old monk of Nanhua Temple in Guangdong mailed 500 yuan to build a temple for Master Hong Yan. Before, Master Hong Yan went to Nanhua Temple for alms and stayed in Nanhua Temple for one night. He dreamed that Bodhisattva Wei Tuo told him to hurry back to Xianyue Temple. In my dream, Bodhisattva Wei Tuo said to Master Hong Yan, "You can build temples with money, but you can build temples without money. I can build a temple and practice when I go back. "

Master Hong Yan came back from giving alms at Nanhua Temple, and built roads by himself. Because the subgrade involves the ground of two villages, the road construction has encountered great obstacles. Master Hong Yan bows to the mountain from the foot of the mountain every day, asking for the blessing of Buddha and Bodhisattva. Master was beaten by others, covered in blood, and worshipped Buddha for several months. The first cost of road construction was sent by Wen Dao, a disciple of Hong Yan. Hong Yan, the chief engineer of Zhuzhou South Company, dreamed that he was short of money for road construction, and sent 20,000 yuan the next day. Under his mobilization, more than 200,000 yuan was raised at that time, and 1.996 and 1.997 were completed as "intentions"; Yan Hongshi built temples by repairing roadsides, built Xianyue Temple by 1997 and 1998, and carved and restored Buddha statues, which cost more than 2 million yuan. Wang Limin, vice president of the local industrial and commercial bank, dreamed that two monks in Xianyue Temple had no cotton shoes to wear and no oil to cook. The next day, he sent 100 Jin of rice, 20 Jin of cooking oil and 3 pairs of cotton shoes. Master Hong Yan asked President Wang, "Did you do it yourself?" Wang Limin said: The Bodhisattva told him. Because of Hong Yan's firm will, he finally built a "heart-to-heart road" and a "heart-to-heart road", which paved the way for believers to go up the mountain to worship Buddha.

Master Shi Yanhong was born in Honghu, Hubei. Common name Liao, real name. Yi Chengzhang, president of the Chinese Buddhist Association, is always a fellow disciple. Master Hong Yan's idea of teaching Buddhism is: "To learn Buddhism, we should have five loves: patriotism, love of teaching, love of people, love of work and love of home. Learn to be patient: the people and things in the world can be accommodated by the sky, the earth, the Buddha and Bodhisattva, and I can accommodate them! " Xu Yun, the third generation master of Hong Yan, had a close relationship with Xu Yun, an old monk in Yunjushan, Jiangxi, in his early years. He is currently the vice president of Zhuzhou Buddhist Association, the president of Liling Buddhist Association and the abbot of Xianyue Temple in Liling.

/kloc-At the age of 0/2, Master Hong Yan became a monk in Emei Mountain, Sichuan Province, practicing martial arts and collecting herbs, and began to practice medicine at the age of 27. He was locked up twice before he was 40. Both retreats were held in Emei Mountain, Sichuan. The second closed door lasted 10 years. After studying in Jiu Nan for ten years, I was moved by nature and self-reliance, and finally stood the test of various magical realms. When passing through the customs, the teacher stretched himself and shouted, and the stone on the mountain fell straight. Manjue called him to Yunju Mountain in Jiangxi. Soon, Zun was appointed by the old monk Manjue, and Wan Yan Hongshi went to Xianyue Mountain in Liling City, Hunan Province to repair the ancestral temple.

He is skillful in teaching Dharma, doing land and water rituals, saving lives, adopting orphans and widows, digging wells and pumping water, watching geomantic omen, farming and civil engineering, and designing temples. Master Hong Yan can do anything, and he is quite a monk. In Master Hong Yan's temple, we can see the rare features of other temples: the Chinese herbal medicine room of Master Hong Yan, the pennant hanging on the wall of the guest room, the wooden workshop with tools such as chainsaws and planers, the farm tool room filled with all kinds of farm tools, the house rebuilt by Master Hong Yan and the temple designed by Master Hong Yan. Master Hong Yan has no problem in observing machines, subtly attracting all beings and treating countless terminally ill patients. Many patients were influenced by Buddhism, converted to Buddhism and changed their lives.
