There are three main sources. The east branch is named Weihe River, which originates from Guanyazi on the south slope of Wuzhishan (known as Wufu Mountain and Wuzi Mountain in ancient times) at an altitude of 17 10 m in Leijiahe Village in the northeast of Erlangmiao Town, and the north branch is named Mageshui.

Originated in the south slope of Liyazi at an altitude of 1602 m in Huilong Village, Yanmen Township, the east and north branches flow southward into Dongshuangcha River in Erlangmiao Railway Station, and then it is still called Majiaoshui, and continues to flow southward.

The west branch is Tongjiang Jacky, which is called Wen Sheng River. It originates from the north slope of the fire site at an altitude of 2 127 meters in Anshun Village, Wensheng Township, flows through Baiyang Cave and Wenshengchang in the southeast, and meets Mage Water in Zhonglinba, Bai Sheng Township, which is called Yinping River.

Southwest flows to Guanyin Dam in Yinping Village of Xiaoxiba, where the Zhonghua River, which originated from Chonghua Guangli Temple, joins the Maoer River, which originated from Tongxing, Chunchun, Yongsheng, Xinfeng and other towns, and then flows into Yin Ping, then flows 2 kilometers south to Yinping Dam, and then flows into Daotang River (namely Shennong River), which originated from Shuanghe and Xinxing towns. Since then, the main channel of the upper reaches of Tongjiang River has been formed, with an altitude of 562 meters and a river width of about 65,438+.
