An ideal philosophy graduate's job is to continue to engage in philosophy research in universities or research institutes. The last thing you should go to is government agencies, which is politics. An important part of philosophy is the criticism of reality, the criticism of system and the pursuit of all truth. Politics is just another way. It is a tragedy for a serious philosophy graduate to go into politics. As for the idea that people who have studied philosophy are suitable for politics, I don't know where it comes from. Shandong University has a school of politics and management, and they may be more suitable for this road.
