What does six-hexagram divination mean?

Six-hexagram divination is one of the ancient traditional cultures in China, which originated in the Zhou Dynasty and is said to have been invented by Zhou Wenwang inspired by the gods. Its basic principle is to predict the success or failure of things through the change of divinatory symbols, which was produced in the Duke of Zhou Dynasty and became a tool for the ancients to explore the unity of heaven and man. Influenced by Taoism and Yi-ology, Liu Yi's divination has both profound philosophical thoughts and simple and easy-to-operate divination methods.

Six hexagrams divination uses six hexagrams to predict the good or bad of things, in which hexagrams are divided into yang hexagrams and yin hexagrams, and each hexagram consists of six yin and yang hexagrams. The change of hexagrams is diverse and flexible, which can be changed by people, events and times, and the predicted results can sometimes even exceed the personal cognitive range.

At present, although the development of modern science and technology can bring people more accurate predictions, as a part of traditional culture, six-hexagram divination is still loved by many people. Although the result is subjective and difficult to explain scientifically, its divination method still makes people try to figure out the mystery and turn it into a way of their own life belief or spiritual pursuit, which still has high inheritance and development value.
