The story happened in Taiwan Province Province in the 1980s. Zhu Dade (Chu Keliang) is an ordinary photographer. He and his daughter Zhu Xiaoqin (Guo Caijie) live a quiet life. Later, the father and daughter came to the big city to seek development and want to live a better life. As a result, under the mistake, Zhu Dade became the boss of the underworld, and his relationship with Zhu Xiaoqin was therefore cracked.

One day, Zhu Dade met a fortune teller named Lao He (played by Chu Keliang). They look surprisingly similar, but CSI was mistaken for Zhu Dade and lost his life. After the death of CSI, he left his son Adan (Yang Shining) alone, so Zhu Dade found Adan, and the two formed the "DL Special Agent Team".
