Where is Xiangshan?

Xiangshan is located in the west of Yaoyu Village, Miaowan Town, 45 kilometers northwest of Yaozhou District, Tongchuan City, Shaanxi Province.

Xiangshan is a well-preserved natural secondary forest area with mountains and valleys, unique geological landscape and forest coverage rate of over 85%. The Buddhist building on the mountain, Daxiangshan Temple, was built in the Qin Dynasty. It is said that it is the place where Wang's three daughters and Princess Miaoshan practice. Because Miao Shan gave up his hands and eyes in order to treat his father's illness, he was named Guanyin Bodhisattva with thousands of hands and eyes, and was honored as the Lord God of Xiangshan, becoming a famous Buddhist mountain.

So Xiangshan is famous for its supernatural bodhisattva. Pilgrims from past dynasties gathered in the mountains, not only from China, but also from some countries in Southeast Asia, Hong Kong and Macao. It is one of the "Eight Famous Buddhist Mountains" in China and a famous Buddhist holy land. It is the only place where Guanyin sits and worships in China. 1986 was listed as a key cultural relics protection unit in the city. 1999, Xiangshan-Zhao Jin provincial scenic spot was founded together with Zhao Jin revolutionary base, and was promoted to national AAAA scenic spot in 20 14.

The main attractions of Xiangshan:

1, Jade Emperor Temple

Jade Emperor Temple, located at the top of Xiangshan Mountain, is a loft-style building. Its walls and ceiling are all carved with talc, with exquisite craftsmanship. Due to the age, frequent wind and rain erosion and man-made destruction, the ancient style has disappeared and is now rebuilt in 2006.

2. Xiangshan Palace

Xiangshan Palace is located at the top of Xiangshan Mountain, 500 meters north of Yuhuang Temple. There used to be a statue called "Xiangshan Temple without prayer, Bi Xia Temple without prayer". There is no old look, but it was rebuilt in 2006.
