What happens when a lark is caught?

Larks usually feed millet, eggs and millet. Pay attention to replenish enough water. Usually, you can also feed some vegetables or fruits and hemp seeds, and feed 3-4 breadworms every day. In addition, walking birds and changing sand frequently can also be kept well. However, the newly captured lark, commonly known as the net valve, is wild and timid, and the feeding value of the net valve is not great. It is recommended to release it next year before buying it. One more thing, you can ask the local lark breeder to help identify the sex of the following birds and release them quickly.

Breeding method of lark

Lark is a famous bird on the dam in Zhangjiakou, Hebei Province. The locals commonly call it Lark. Larks can quietly imitate the tones of various birds and some animals, sing tactfully and loudly for a long time, sing the sky when flying high, and jump and sing in cages, so they are called "singers among birds". Larks are easy to domesticate, and they are ideal for raising birds in family cages. As a kind of "friendship bird", it is often exported to Hong Kong, Macao and some countries in Southeast Asia, and is deeply loved by overseas Chinese and foreign friends.

Feeding method of young birds

Most larks in domestic captivity catch young birds from weeds for artificial feeding. Captured chicks can't feed themselves, but will peck after more than 20 days of artificial fine feeding. The main ingredients are bean noodles and eggs, which should be carefully processed. The practice is: stir-fry mung beans or peas until half-cooked, grind them into fine flour, add 6-8 eggs per catty, mix well and dry them in the sun for preservation, but avoid mildew. When feeding birds, mix an appropriate amount of egg noodles with water and knead them into strips, each time 1-2 mouthfuls, 6-8 times a day. When the young birds peck, put the mixed paste feed into the feeding basin. Water should not be fed during this period. After 3 months, change to egg rice (generally mix 5 eggs every 500 grams of millet, dry them in the shade after mixing, and then rub them off), and give enough water. In order to adapt to the wild habits of larks, the cage should be covered with 2-3 cm thick fine sand or dry loess, and some insects should be fed continuously to adjust the diet.
