Why doesn't Changting fight for Longyan?

Traffic problems. Longyan replaced Changting as the capital of western Fujian, Longyan is the city, and Changting is the county seat under the jurisdiction of Longyan City. Because of its remote geographical location, Changting lags behind Longyan in traffic problems, resulting in no competition for Longyan. Longyan, also known as western Fujian, is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Fujian Province. Located at the junction of Fujian, Guangdong and Jiangxi provinces in western Fujian. It is a famous old revolutionary base area in China and the core area of the former Central Soviet Area.
