There is no foreign fortune in fortune telling _ What if there is no foreign fortune in fortune telling?

What does the fortune teller mean by foreign currency?

The "extra money" mentioned by the ancients, in my understanding, is a second job, or income outside of work, not improper income in our understanding, nor is it a super-rich person who gets it by accident.

Everyone wants to take shortcuts, but there is no such thing as shortcuts in life. Accidental wealth, or wealth obtained through improper means, is a hot potato. What kind of life do you enjoy? If it is not your hard-earned wealth, no one will cherish it.

Lao Tzu said in the Tao Te Ching that "although there is, Yan is detached". A saint like Lao Tzu is detached from prosperity! They are indifferent to wealth!

There are many people in life. Originally, they lived a normal life and the family lived in harmony. However, once the old house is demolished, the family with huge wealth is quarrelling as a bee because of the distribution of wealth, and it is like brothers, and even old and dead!

Sometimes, our hard work is not as easy as those "foreign money", but these wealth are sometimes a curse! Lao Tzu also said that "misfortune is a blessing; Happiness lies in misfortune. " Happiness and misfortune are interdependent, and you will become happier if you look down on wealth!

In the life of our ancestors, there is another saying, that is, "if you are rich outside, you will not be rich, but if you are rich inside, you will help the poor."

This sentence was actually said by Yan Hui, a disciple of Confucius. In order to test Yan Hui, Confucius dropped an ingot of gold on the only way to Yan Hui. At first glance, Yan Hui did not take the gold away, but wrote: "Foreign money is not rich, help the poor!" ! Later, this sentence was handed down, and a sentence was added in front of it, which became "Yan Hui's gold ingot is a godsend, and being rich outside is not enough to help the poor"!

It turns out that this sentence is about people with good conduct, who know how to be self-reliant and will not get lost in those unexpected wealth! Now, people interpret it as a person who is doomed to poverty. Even if he has foreign money, he is not blessed!

The pursuit of wealth is understandable! Sima Qian said, "The world is bustling for profit, and the world is bustling for profit." People are busy, aren't they all for the word "wealth"? However, as the saying goes, there are gains and losses. Although sometimes foreign money comes, you may lose more!

Some people who are eager for quick success and instant benefit will always use and misinterpret the two common sayings, "A horse without night grass is not fat, a man without windfall is not rich" and "Hungry people are timid and brave", and use these two words to paralyze themselves and seek some ill-gotten gains. The ancestors said that "a gentleman loves money and takes it wisely" is the real way to get rich.

The real foreign wealth is not what we think of as unexpected wealth and ill-gotten wealth. On the contrary, those second jobs we run, or legal wealth gained through our own wisdom.

This sentence of our ancestors, in our present understanding, is actually teaching us that if we want to live a good life, we should not put our eggs in one basket, do our job well, and at the same time develop at least one "extra money", either writing, opening a shop or renting an idle house.

If we simply understand "people without foreign wealth are not rich" as "unexpected wealth and ill-gotten wealth", then we underestimate the wisdom of our ancestors!
