The Historical Evolution of Randeng Temple

Randeng Temple, a thousand-year-old temple, is located in Sishan National Forest Park, Xixia County, Henan Province, just across the Stork River. The scenery here is beautiful, the scenery is beautiful. Mount Temple, named after the temple spirit, is one of the earliest Buddhist shrines in China. According to legend, Randeng Temple was founded in the Spring and Autumn Period and flourished in the Tang and Yuan Dynasties, with a history of more than 2,000 years. In the 13th year of Zhenguan in the Tang Dynasty (AD 639), Master Shen Hui and Buddhist master Zhong Hui went to the temple to talk about Buddhism and show the "teaching method". Xixia County still treasures the classic buildings of Dalagni, which were built in Tang Xizong for two years (AD 875). Burning Buddha is also known as Dingguang Buddha. According to religious dictionaries, Burning Buddha is the Buddha of the past, Sakyamuni Buddha is the Buddha of the present, and Maitreya Buddha is the Buddha of the future. Burning Buddha is the teacher of Buddha Sakyamuni. He predicted that Sakyamuni would be born after the 9 1 1 robbery. "Great Wisdom" said, "If a Buddha burns a lamp, everything around him is like a lamp when he is born, so he is named Prince Burning a Lamp, and when he becomes a Buddha, he is also called Burning a Lamp." It is also said that when Nicodemus practiced in the underground branch, every time he gave birth to a burning Buddha, he bought five violet branches to support the burning Buddha, spread his hair on the ground and let the burning Buddha pass by, so the burning Buddha awarded the future Buddha to Nicodemus. It is recorded in the Diamond Sutra: "Tathagata burns Buddha, so it burns Buddha. I teach you to make a point, to become a Buddha in the afterlife, not Sakyamuni. Therefore, Sishan Randeng Temple is also the only Dojo in ancient China dedicated to burning lanterns of ancient buddhas.
