Is Xiangxi dialect the same as Hunan dialect?

Xiangxi is the abbreviation of Xiangxi, which administratively refers to Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. The counties in Xiangxi dialect are different, and Jishou dialect is commonly used. Jishou dialect is also very different from other places in Hunan, and is more similar to the dialect in Chongqing, Sichuan. Jishou dialect is a branch of Southwest Mandarin. Hunan dialect is commonly used in Changsha dialect, and there are some similarities in Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan area. Therefore, not only there are various dialects in Xiangxi, but also in Hunan.
