Hubei Tea Plum Garden is located in Caishan Plum Garden in Huangmei County.

Cai Mei was named after growing up next to Jiangxin Temple in Caishan Town, Huangmei County, Hubei Province. Caishan is located about 35 kilometers southwest of Huangmei County. There is a temple in the mountains called Jiangxin Ancient Temple. There is a "Star-Picking Building" next to the temple for visiting objective stars and enjoying the moon.

The temple building was built by Zhidun, a monk in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, and the golden plum beside the temple was planted by the monk himself. It often blooms twice a year and is said to be the only real "twice plum" known in China. The flowers are white and the stamens are pink, which has high ornamental and research value. This plum blossom has a history of 1 660 years since the Jin Dynasty. It is the oldest plum blossom birthday star in China and even the world, and one of the four Gu Mei in China.
