Please leave your instructions. The teacher said: Read the Buddha honestly and don't change the subject. Wanli was silent for forty years, and lived eighty-one. Together with Bai Zi, Hanshan and Yi Shan, they are called the four great monks of Ming Dynasty.

Everyone has his own opinion on an important event, but people with good roots have different views and unique opinions. Master lianchi said that a real event in life is the word "life and death", where there is life, there is death, and death is the beginning of another life. Therefore, today's task is to realize that there is no life and death.
If you don't realize life and death, you will never be in the samsara of life and death, and there is no cycle. Therefore, he has his unique view that life and death are really important events in life and must be done, so the master wrote down the words "life and death are important" on his desk as the motto of daily vigilance.
Master lianchi became a monk at the age of 32. He advocates chanting samadhi, being single-minded and rational. Master lianchi was very diligent in chanting Buddha and entered meditation several times. Gradually, his fame spread throughout the court, and monks and nuns from far and near came to get close to him and accept his education. Slowly, his Dojo became a big jungle, and Pure Land Sect began to flourish here.
At the age of eighty-one, master lianchi believed that his life had come to an end. He knew when he would die, so he used his spare time to say goodbye to his lay relatives and friends. Then read the holy name of Amitabha in the squatter, and Amitabha slowly read the Buddha in the crowd and sat down with peace of mind.
Before he died, he asked his disciples, do you have any questions? If there is no problem, master will not come back when he goes. If you have any questions, please ask them quickly. One of them raised his hand and asked, Master, you are going to die. Do you have any last words to explain? Let's take it as the motto of practice so as to abide by it. Master lianchi has a famous saying, "Be honest when reciting Buddha, and don't change the subject." We should read the name of Amitabha and concentrate on it, instead of changing the subject today and tomorrow. Reading Amitabha Buddha today, Guanyin Bodhisattva tomorrow, incantation the day after tomorrow, and changing the subject and method of practice often fail.
Amitabha bit it, never forgetting it, just like Mount Sumi, standing still; Like a hen hatching eggs, it must be heated. If the egg is cold and has no temperature, it can't be shaped and hatched. After all, Buddhism and Taoism are the same, law and law are equal, and all laws are equal to reach the realm of Buddhism. Every Buddha's teaching method is the same, so why bother to be different? I finished watching the bodhisattva of the earth treasure at once. After reading it, I thought, I would be embarrassed not to see Guanyin Bodhisattva. Not long after I read Amitabha, I felt embarrassed when I saw it. I didn't say your name, so I changed it to Amitabha and read a few words. I also think that I lack wisdom, and Manjusri Bodhisattva represents great wisdom. I still call it Manjusri Bodhisattva, because Manjusri Bodhisattva has been watching me, and I will be embarrassed not to think about him. If you are constantly changing, how can you read it without being confused?
His thoughts and delusions are flying all over the sky, and he has many separated hearts. How can he be single-minded So be sure to remember what I said: "Buddhism and Taoism are interlinked, and law and law are equal." It makes you happy to say that you have a statue. Just say you have a holy name of Buddha and Bodhisattva.
On his deathbed, master lianchi left these two famous sayings, which were circulated in his religion: "Be honest when reciting Buddha, and don't change the subject. If you meditate, you read between your lips, and you don't make a sound. Meditate for a long time and you will fall asleep. This is its weakness. You must have a high degree of concentration to achieve meditation.
Also known as "Vajrayana", it means that many Buddhist names are pronounced in the mouth. This kind of power is relatively solid, and every sentence is revealed from the heart. Amitabha will not disturb others or faint. When you open and close your lips and teeth, you can hear every word clearly. This is called "Vajrayana". King Kong has the meaning of firmness, incorruptibility, hardness and solidity, so it is the easiest way to achieve peace of mind among all Buddhism.
Master lianchi said: This way of thinking is easy to achieve the unity of mind, and it can also achieve the unity of mind before entering the Dharma Body. When chanting Buddha, you don't have to force it. There is no fixed method, depending on your mentality at that time. When your heart is scattered and you are afraid, read Buddha aloud! Read Amitabha aloud to get rid of delusion and drowsiness. When the mind is calm and there are not so many delusions, you can resume whispering. There is no fixed method, just improvise.
You can read aloud, quietly, silently or mindlessly, depending on your mood at that time. If you are at peace, you don't have to read aloud. If you study hard until you are almost exhausted and limp, you might as well use meditation or vajrayana at this time. If you are dozing off, dizzy or out of your mind, you might as well read it aloud again. There is no fixed method, depending on your situation, decide what medicine to use. Master lianchi deserves to be a master, and it is an opportunity to speak.
Speaking of this, it reminds me that from the Republic of China, there was a master of law. He used to be a soldier. After retiring, he was a lieutenant general and served as an aviation commander. When you hear his way of chanting Buddha, you will think: Is it really that serious? How does he pronounce it That's it: "Amitabha ~ ~!" "Life is bitter ~ I want to live in pure land!" "Amitabha! Did you hear that? " Such a shout shook the glass and shook the windows.
I heard from a monk that one night I wanted to visit the elder. Seeing that the master was so sad, lonely and wailing about Amitabha, she got goose bumps, so she went straight back to the temple from the mountain and thought that Master was crazy. How can someone recite Buddha like this?
This is how Master Lu Hang practiced reciting. After studying for an hour and a half, he felt weak and limp, and went to bed after the evening self-study successfully ended. In this way, he is consistent in the evening self-study, not in a joking mood, but in a desperate effort to read Buddha. He said that the reincarnation of life and death is terrible, and the method of chanting Buddha is not fixed. How can it be rude? The elder also said: chanting Amitabha is a solemn liberation, which means life and death, avoiding the six divisions in the wheel of karma. There is no need to remember face and pay attention to decency when chanting Buddha! After all, life and death are important things. I don't want to live this life, but I don't want to live this life. If I have a thousand robberies, when will I come back?
Master lianchi taught us to recite Buddha?
Master lianchi said: It's hard to decide for a long time. Don't worry if you don't have a clear mind when chanting Buddha. As long as your ears are deep, you should read every word carefully Misunderstanding is a disease, chanting Buddha is a medicine, and chanting Buddha is a medicine for distracting thoughts. Those who can't be cured are not kind because they read Buddha. When the distractions begin, deal with them with your heart, refine every word, and the distractions will stop!
Not the kui is master lianchi, the holy monk said is really extraordinary. He said: a long-troubled heart is difficult to decide at the moment. This sentence is very incisive, look! How much suffering has created how many bad karma? Fortunately, what goes around comes around is invisible. If it is tangible, it will be higher and wider than Mount Sumi. Cause chaos is the heart of long chaos. Your confusion now is just a random thought in this life. However, if you have a lot of troubles, the karma you have created for generations is invisible. If you can see it, you will faint and be afraid. We have created too much karma. No wonder when you read Amitabha, you will be delusional for a while, and waves will emerge.
It is because of your long-troubled mind and delusional consciousness that you have never recited Buddha, and your heart has never been settled, so it is not so easy to really settle down. The mind, which is called a long-term puzzle, is difficult to settle for a while, and frequently expresses the turbulent mentality of all beings. Master lianchi also said: People who miss Buddha's heart are not pure, so don't worry, worry, hinder or worry. It's just that you haven't done enough to recite Buddha. When you have the skill of meditation, then every Buddhist name will be impregnable.
When I first became a monk, I didn't learn Buddhism solidly, I didn't have enough concentration, and I had many delusions, so it was difficult to settle down for a while. But after I became a monk, after more than 20 years of persistent chanting of the name of Amitabha, a few words quickly settled down, so I gradually got better.
If you decide to read Buddha, every word of Amitabha comes from your heart. Misconception is a disease, and reading Buddha is medicine. Treat your paranoia with the medicine of chanting Buddha. I often say that if there is delusion, there is no Buddha's thought, and if there is Buddha's thought, there is no delusion. Just like a balance, once it goes up and down and reaches the level, it adds more functions. In the end, only Amitabha Buddha is pure, and your samadhi of chanting Buddha is gradually revealed.
Master lianchi added: Generally, there is no way to cure so many delusions, just because chanting Buddha is not sad, and people think it is far from death, especially those in their teens, twenties and thirties. When will they die? Because of this delusion, chanting Buddha is not sad enough, and mindfulness is out of the question; Or think; I am so rich that I can do whatever I want and want everything. Do I still need to recite Buddha? Isn't chanting Buddha "what are people doing"? Why bother chanting Buddha when you are still thirsty? Now that the reservoir is short of water, we should save drinking water.
I have food, clothes, sleep and wealth. What else can I read? Buddhist chanting is a matter for the poor, evil people and the poor, and it is a matter for the disabled. Buddhist chanting has nothing to do with me. There are such people in the world who have no good roots, let alone achieve the goal of chanting Buddha without confusion!
People with deep barriers and shallow wisdom think of many reasons, all of which are obstacles. For example, I am a rich man, rich and expensive, and happy, so why do I need to study Buddhism? Because his blessings hinder good roots, it is said that "wealth is hard to repair", and his blessings hinder the disclosure of good roots. As the saying goes: won't wealth die? No karma? No trouble? Even if you are carefree and rich, won't you die at 100? Where are you reborn after the end of your life, but there is no end! This is the wealth that hinders the expression of his good roots, and it is also a kind of karma.
If you are rich and know how to practice, it is rare in the world. On the contrary, when you have a lot of karma, troubles and hardships, such people can better understand the true meaning of life, know the road in adversity, realize the impermanence of life, and know that there is no way to go in this life and there will be reincarnation in the afterlife, so people who have experienced great storms in hardships are easy to realize. As the saying goes, "the sacred flame turns into a red lotus, and the three realms are now the kings of France." 」
Master lianchi also said: Before your distractions appear, you should read Amitabha with your heart and function; For example, if you want to live in the present, you must practice hard. Only practice can determine life and death. To sum up, in practice, everyone has distractions and delusions, and every man-made industry is different, so the delusions inspired by this vary widely. So master lianchi said, if you are confused about chanting, you don't have to worry or worry. As long as you are proficient in chanting Buddha, over time, your delusion will naturally be broken.
Master lianchi: When all thoughts are flying, it is time to do work. After a long time, I am skilled in my work and can't think of it. Moreover, if you can feel that you think too much, you will lose this Buddha's ear. Can you feel people who don't recite Buddha, are choppy and don't stop?
It means: when your mind is full of thoughts, it's time for you to do kung fu and recite Buddha. Otherwise, when will you wait to recite Buddha? We are full of troubles, all delusions at the end of our lives, and we are in one spirit, and it is difficult for our families to give up, so we can't afford mindfulness, so we are reincarnated with your karma. At that time, if there was a way to raise mindfulness and say that we should read Amitabha, we could break through the barriers of feelings, relatives and delusional consciousness, read Buddha and live in pure land.
Spin in and out, spin means immediately, this moment means. Rotation is to take back all delusions immediately and return to one thought. This is called turning all thoughts into one thought, and one thought drives all thoughts. Turn all your delusional consciousness into a mantra of amitabha. If you want to fly out, pull it back immediately and live in the Buddha's name with peace of mind. If it is a tug-of-war, over time, a clean Buddhist name can defeat all the delusional magic armies. It's called spin, spin, spin!
When chanting Buddha, you concentrate your courage, courage and firepower, and put all your thoughts on one thought, that is, Amitabha. One by one, chanting the Buddha's number, firmly hold on. Even if he slips away, the willpower of practice will never waver and he is proficient in kung fu. If you are delusional, you will naturally lose your seeds, and the dharma body will not be complacent for a while.
There was a mage who read master lianchi's French and recited Tommy's name seriously. He lived, sat and lay all the time and never left the Buddha's heart. If he thinks together, the Buddha's heart will rise immediately. In buddha magic's war, he would unscrew, unscrew, unscrew, concentrate on studying Buddha's heart and sweat all over, but he just bit on Buddha's heart and soon entered the meditation of chanting Buddha.
In fact, chanting Buddha is also a delusion, but it is to overcome delusion with delusion. This is called fighting poison with poison. People's delusions are endless, and they always think about some troubles with five desires and six dusts. Instead of this, it is better to read amitabha. Although the concept of Amitabha is also a delusion, this delusion of Amitabha is purer than the realm of five desires and six dusts. After reading the Buddha's name for a long time, you won't be confused. Finally, you will be able to read what you think and then forget it. Without opposition, the light dharma body will appear.
There is light, and the dharma body is empty, just like vanity. Spiritual consciousness, clear and clear, pure with one heart, pure with Buddha's nature, and purity shines at the entrance of Liudao all the time. Without thinking of Amitabha, delusion is like stormy waves, wave after wave, over and over again.
Therefore, if people have strong delusions and deep karma, they should recite the holy name of Amitabha twice, that is, they can purify their delusions and ignorance, and they will not be robbed at first, and it is just around the corner to recite the Buddha's three realms. Why? You pay, you get the result. After all, you won't donate.
You have to pay a considerable price to practice, in order to purify the delusion consciousness. Otherwise, just reading the name of Amitabha two sentences will make people feel good about Amitabha. How can a person with such a foundation achieve great things, let alone realize enlightenment and bear fruit! Some people just read a few Buddhist names and start showing off everywhere. How can such a person be enlightened? So you need a hundred times of skills to practice, and there are ways to overcome your delusions, ignorance and habits.
People with serious karma or mental problems have difficulty in chanting Buddhism. Or patients with depression or bipolar disorder, it is difficult to concentrate on Buddhism. Because he is busy with delusions, inner thoughts and his severe schizophrenia, how can he come to read Amitabha? Therefore, people with complicated thoughts, people with depression or bipolar disorder, chanting Buddha is not that simple! After all, the symptoms are so serious that it is no wonder that I went to my sick world without reading a few words. Therefore, chanting Buddha requires several times of Daoism, and there are ways to purify the obstacles of your karma. Otherwise, nine times out of ten, people will be dragged down by his numerous karma, karma and karma, which will make him unable to control himself, so practice will pay a price. This is the truth.
Master lianchi is a very honest monk. When he talked about the Bible, he didn't talk about mystery. He said what he should say and what he shouldn't say. He is a very humble holy monk and a teacher.
Master lianchi said: After I became a monk, I visited everywhere and my family was very excited when I debated with the master. I knocked on the capital and invited him again. The teacher said: You can keep your duty, don't seek fame and fortune, don't cling to it, as long as the cause and effect are clear and you are bent on becoming a Buddha. When I quit after being taught, my peers smiled and said, I won't say these words! Thousands of miles away, only the Tao is extremely beautiful, not worth a penny!
He said: When I first became a monk, I was very humble. If I have good knowledge, a master and a holy monk, I will visit. At that time, there was a master of debate and peace in the north, where there were many people confirmed by him. Debate and harmony are great knowledge. Many people in the north and south of the country went there to receive his initiation and attend his lectures. The law was very popular at that time. After I heard the news in the south, I made several obeisances with a very pious heart, and invited several fellow friends to go there to listen to the debate and the master's law.
At that time, the master of debate and peace said to us: Lianchi! You people should do your duty! Monks should do their duty well, don't covet fame and fortune, don't like climbing mountains, and visit their families or wander around if they have nothing to do. If monks do this, they will climb too much and neglect their careers. At the same time, we should believe in cause and effect, hold cause and effect, read the Buddha well, and be single-minded Master only said these words, less than a few words before and after. After listening to these words, my lotus pond retired gratefully.
Four or five people who went with me, before leaving this good knowledge, all smiled and said, "Oh dear! ! What good knowledge, what a good debater? What enlightened saint? Thanks to these words, he can still say it. It's rare for us to come all the way to this place, wondering if we can hear more mysterious and profound jurisprudence and way out. As a result, these words are worthless
But master lianchi was ecstatic. He said, these words are what I want to hear. How many monks can keep their jobs? How many people can not covet fame and fortune? How many people can't wander and climb? How many people can really establish the concept of cause and effect and unswervingly believe in cause and effect? Before the fruit position is proved, everyone will shake the cause and effect more or less. Even a few Buddhist students can really pronounce Buddhist names skillfully? If we can recite Amitabha according to the teachings of the master of debate and debate, then all beings in our mother will not completely die in the pure land of western bliss.
It's a pity that all sentient beings pretend to be lofty and knowledgeable. A man of great talent can't explain again, knowing that it is easier said than done, and insisting on wasting things. All sentient beings just died in vain in this series of tribute to Buddha and contempt for cause and effect. No wonder they can't bear fruit and live in the pure land of western bliss. Aren't you sad? Be pitied by the wise. Master Lian Chiyun: That's what I want to hear. Master lianchi was one of the four eminent monks in the late Ming Dynasty. Debate master's pertinent French is the most profound and simple. What he can't do is the deepest, and what he can do is the shallowest, so depth is the only way. Only master lianchi can get the Tao, and the real chapter can be seen at the end of his practice. master lianchi used his bone marrow like this and listened to it all. As a result, he was lucid and reached samadhi.
At the age of eighty-one, Master was disease-free and greedy. If he goes into meditation, he knows it's time to sit down and wait for death. On the other hand, Taoist friends traveling with master lianchi, because they despise cause and effect, despise chanting Buddha, are arrogant, ignorant and humble, speak loudly, waste things, and have nothing all their lives, but with the heart of respecting me and walking slowly, how can this case be sloppy!
Master lianchi is really an extraordinary monk among ordinary people. His examples and words show that Buddhism is inseparable from the world, and he understands the enlightenment of Buddhism to the world.
