What language family does Yongzhou dialect belong to?

Yongzhou Dialect (Northern Language Family-Southwest Mandarin): Yongzhou Dialect, that is, Yongzhou Dialect, is also called Lingling Dialect in Yongzhou City (Lingling District and Lengshuitan District), and in recent years it has been named lengshuitan Dialect. Today, it is mainly distributed in Yongzhou City (Lingling District and Lengshuitan District) and northern Shuangpai County, with Lingling City as the center. In addition, there are Dong 'an dialect centered on Baiya Town, Qiyang dialect centered on Wuxi Town, Daozhou dialect centered on Daojiang Town, Xintian dialect centered on Shunling Town in Ningyuan Lanshan, and Jianghua Jiangyong dialect centered on Tuojiang Town. Although several counties in the north of Yongzhou are all in Hunan Province, they are deeply influenced by Southwest Mandarin.

Chenzhou dialect in Hunan province

Chenzhou dialect (northern dialect-southwest mandarin; Gan dialect, Hakka dialect): Chenzhou dialect can be divided into three parts. One is Chenzhou Mandarin, including Suxian Dialect and Beihu Dialect in Laochen County, and Chengguan Dialect in Guiyang, Linwu, Yizhang and Jiahe County (commonly known as Jiehua), which belongs to Southwest Mandarin and is close to Sichuan and Yungui Dialects. One is Zixing, Yongxing, Anren, Rucheng and Guidong dialects, represented by Zixing dialect, which belongs to Jiangxi dialect. There is also a dialect of Guiyang, Linwu, Yizhang and Jiahe represented by Guiyang dialect, which belongs to bilingual areas and is a mixed dialect. Chenzhou Mandarin is close to modern Mandarin, which is relatively easy to understand, while Xiangnan Dialect and Ganke Dialect retain many old sayings, which are relatively difficult to understand.
