The name of Sancang comes from

The first legend is that in 563 BC, our ancestors built three warehouses bigger than Metro Supermarket in Sancang Town: the first warehouse was full of gold (equivalent to the current banks and financial institutions), the second warehouse was full of grain (equivalent to the current grain management institute, COFCO), and the last warehouse was a salt warehouse (later evolved into a salt port and salt company). The so-called three warehouses are money, grain and salt warehouses. The second is to say that in order to control the salt camp, the Qing government built many official warehouses to store salt along the coast and sent troops to guard it. At that time, there were official warehouses such as "one warehouse", "two warehouses" and "three warehouses". Later, these salt warehouses became place names. Sancang is the largest town in Dongtai, which used to be 98 square kilometers. Later, Nong Xin Town was placed under Sancang, and now it is nearly 150 square kilometers. The construction of Sancang Town is also one of the best in Dongtai area, with the built-up area exceeding 10 square kilometers. With high-rise buildings, smooth roads and reasonable zoning, the town has begun to show signs of a modern seaside town. Two big rivers, Sancang River and Duoduo River, flow from Sancang to the surging Yellow Sea.
