Jin Shengtan's fortune-telling poems

Wang Yangming, an elder brother of the Ming Dynasty, was a man of noble character, outstanding achievements and resolute speech. He was called the "Three Immortals Perfect Man" and was the national idol at that time, but Mr. Yangming still didn't have him!

It is said that there was a family named Jin in Suzhou in the late Ming and early Qing dynasties (also called Zhang, whether it was Jin or Zhang, there is no way to verify it). Several generations have been farming and studying, with more than a dozen houses and land 100 mu. In addition to self-sufficiency, they can afford to hire several servants and servants.

On the solstice of this winter, the eldest daughter-in-law was finally born, and her mother-in-law, aunt, maid and invited groom were so busy that they shuttled indoors and outdoors like lanterns. From noon until the light is lit, the daughter-in-law's stomach is still bulging.

He paced up and down anxiously in the living room with his hands behind his back, looking in the direction of the delivery room from time to time. Suddenly, he heard a sigh of "cough" coming from the room, so he stopped to look around and didn't see anyone coming in. Where does the sigh come from? And listening to this sigh, it is clearly the voice of an old man, old and desolate, but full of confidence.

He looked for gold and finally looked at a picture hanging on the living room wall. This is a portrait of Confucius, a sage of Confucius. I saw a picture of a teacher, Kong Old Master Q waving his clothes and clasping his hands. He looked at him with mirth, his eyes full of concern. Is this a deep sigh of Confucius?

Just when Master Jin hesitated and couldn't hold his breath, the maid ran out of the delivery room and said, "Congratulations, your daughter-in-law gave birth to a young master sun."

Jin Shifu heard this, the in the mind a joy, then turn from sorrow to joy. His grandson was born there, and Confucius sighed here. What do you mean? Did the boy disturb Confucius? There will probably be trouble in the future, and it is not a general disaster! After many arguments, Jin Shifu finally decided to name the child Jin Kui, also known as Sheng Tan.

Look, is Jin Shengtan awesome? Confucius was shocked when he was born more than two thousand years ago, and his more awesome things are yet to come.

Wynaut was endowed with unusual intelligence. When he was a few years old, he had memorized "32,000". When I was a teenager, I was even eloquent, and all kinds of red tape were not a problem. Neighbors and villagers are amazed at his talent and optimistic about his bright future in Malik Pingchuan.

However, Jin Kui, a child who "does not practice, does not Zen, and does not plow, does not play cards according to common sense, and his behavior is ridiculous, which makes people fall below the glasses-

Spend so much money that you often fall into poverty; Unintentional fame, teasing the examiner, ignoring etiquette; Believing in Buddhism, helping ghosts and gods, claiming to accept more than 30 dead women as disciples of the underworld ... Hehe, this last one alone is scary enough!

Since ancient times, scholars all over the world have been eager to become the number one scholar, go to the pavilion to pay homage and make a promise of a Wan Huhou, which can not only pay homage to their ancestors, but also realize their life ambition of perfecting and leveling the world. However, Jin Kui regarded fame as dirt and did it blindly. No wonder Confucius sighed and made his old mother angry.

Jin Shengtan read a lot of poetry books since he was a child, but he only studied because of his interest, not because he wanted to enter the official career and get ahead. Therefore, it is not the same thing that he makes fun of Maha every time in the imperial examination.

Once I went to the provincial capital for an exam, and the question was "Here comes the calligraphy", and I asked to write an eight-part essay. Jin Shengtan played with his heart, grabbed a pen and brushed it a little. With a wave of his hand, he said: drive east, but don't come west; Open the south, the Chinese calligraphy will not come, open the west, and the Chinese calligraphy will come! I'm glad to see this beauty. ...

The examiner was furious after reading the paper, and immediately approved on his own paper: "The beauty is coming, but it's a pity that you are missing a scholar!" "As a result, Jin Shengtan's humor was overdone, his reputation was lost and he failed.

This has happened more than once. Jin Shengtan is always so arrogant and strange. He will go to every exam, and he will be removed from every exam. He has enough patience. He changed his name every time he came to the exam, but he still laughed and laughed. "Notes of the Qing Dynasty" said that he "used slang words to enter the present language or wrote poems at the end of the volume to ridicule the examiner".

Obviously, he is full of knowledge, but he has to hold a knife sideways. Otherwise, how could he say that he was arrogant and made Confucius' saints nervous?

Jin Shengtan studied four books and five classics, and wrote poems and songs. He is not interested in boring poems, but he prefers reading novels, especially the Water Margin written by Shi Naian. He read it again and again, and even when he was excited, he grabbed a knife and took a pen to criticize the characters in the water margin.

When Jin Shengtan commented on The Water Margin for seventy times, he especially hated Song Jiang, the leader of the Water Margin, saying that he was hypocritical and treacherous, and his favorite was Lu.

Although Lu is an unruly flower monk, who drinks and eats meat, has no culture, is full of "pickled talents" and is majestic in doing things, it happened that this flower monk entered the eyes of Jin Shengtan and was approved by him as the "number one figure" in Water Margin. Why?

Because, Lu lived a chivalrous, bold, free and easy, aboveboard life.

Remember the scene written in Water Margin? In the middle of that night, the moon was white and the wind was clear, and the water and sky were blue. Shen Zhi suddenly heard the sound of the high tide in Qiantang River and thought it was the arrival of the enemy. He waved his mord and prepared to kill.

When the monk in the temple told him that the tide had come twice, he suddenly realized, and said slowly, "I have never pruned the fruit in my life, but I only like killing people and setting fires." Abruptly opened the golden cangue and broke the jade lock here. Hey! The letter from Qiantang River came, and today I know that I am who I am. "Burn incense, take a shower, change clothes, hands folded, and die.

Perhaps it is precisely because of Lu's nirvana, his rebirth from the ashes, and his certain state of mind at that time that Jin Shengtan splashed ink so generously, pouring a brick in his chest through the evaluation of the characters in Water Margin.

The world laughs at me for being crazy, and I laugh that the world can't see through it. The absurdity and arrogance of Jin Shengtan is just a way of existence that he tried to brush out! Jin Shengtan, seemingly eccentric, also has a fiery heart in his chest! Although he often wavers between his birth and joining the WTO, as a Confucian scholar, he still has a feeling of helping the world and the people. He expects to learn something useful and save the world. Although he yearns for freedom and has no intention of being an official, he is as loyal and patriotic as he is, eager to burn with passion.

I have been conceited and brilliant all my life, but I have a lot of life. Jin Shengtan walked alone for a long time.

After commenting on the Water Margin, Jin Shengtan's life seems to be on the right track: publishing and commenting on The West Chamber, annotating Du Fu's poetry anthology, editing Tang Caizi's Book, and compiling an eight-part essay on the book of knowing a talented person. In addition to writing books, he also opened a class to enroll students and give lectures, which is quite famous.

At this time, something happened, which made him such a lonely, spontaneous and unrestrained person, even his eyes lowered and his tears flowed.

It was the seventeenth year of Shunzhi (1660). The emperor was very happy after reading several poems written by Jin Shengtan. In the imperial study, in front of a group of literati, he praised: "This is a master of ancient prose. Don't look at him with the current ancient prose."

When the news came, Jin Shengtan immediately "burst into tears and bowed down."

A man who once teased the examiner, ignored scientific research and had no intention of official career, why did the emperor take off all his armor and disguise with a compliment, kneel down like a child and cry and kowtow to the emperor in the north! Jin Shengtan, Jin Shengtan, so you are not invulnerable, because you are arrogant and ambitious. I cann't believe you have a soft spot, and tears are so easy to poke.

Does Jin Shengtan also have a lonely, fragile, sensitive and warm heart under the crazy and unruly appearance? Is it that deep down in his heart, he is so eager to be understood, to meet a bosom friend and to be appreciated? Is this rebellious child, all his willfulness and cynicism, a series of signals sent by him to the outside world, "Stop singing and ask him for a friendly voice"?

The answer is yes. It turns out that over the years, all the absurdities of Jin Shengtan are brushing the sense of existence and fading the disguise. His heart has been waiting for someone, waiting for someone who can understand him and use him; Before that man appeared, he could only hold himself like a hedgehog, protect himself, warm himself, and confront his inner desolation and helplessness with the eyes of the world!

Jin Shengtan was perverse all his life, and his writing was pungent. He played all his life, even on his deathbed.

In the eighteenth year of Shunzhi (166 1), the new county magistrate of Wuxian whipped the people for collecting tax arrears, which aroused the anger of Suzhou scholars. At the beginning of March, Jin Shengtan and 100 scholars gathered in the Confucius Temple to mourn the emperor shunzhi and took the opportunity to vent their grievances. They came to the yamen and wrote to Zhu Guozhi, the governor of Jiangsu Province, accusing Ren and demanding his dismissal.

It was originally an ordinary person's complaint case. At that time, in order to frighten the gentry in the south of the Yangtze River, the Qing court went on the line, saying that they "beat gongs and drums, gathered people to start chaos, and frightened the spirit of the first emperor", and ordered the arrest of seven gentry, including Jin Shengtan, for a joint hearing in Jiangning, and "hacked to death" after being tortured.

What a wonderful golden sigh. Even in prison, he is still the undercooked copper pea.

In prison, he not only talked and laughed, but also played differently. One day, Jin Shengtan called the jailer and said, "I have something important to tell you." The jailer thought that he would tell the whereabouts of the treasures at home or earth-shattering events, so he waited on him with pen and ink. Unexpectedly, Jin Shengtan told him: "Dried tofu chews peanuts and tastes like ham!"

On the day of execution, Jin Shengtan, who had just passed the age of knowing his destiny, wore a lock, but he was poised. He proudly asked the supervisor for a bowl of hot wine and drank it heartily, saying, "it hurts to cut your head;" Drinking is a kind of enjoyment; Cut your hair and drink first, have fun! "

After drinking the wine and throwing the bowl away, Jin Shengtan looked up and saw his two sons, pear and lotus seed (nickname), kneeling on the gift, hiding their faces and crying. How could Reiko Kobayakawa not be her husband? He can't help feeling sad.

But he still took his time. To comfort his crying son, he said, "Pear lotus seeds, don't cry. Good boy, come here. Dad will give you couplets, right? " So he recited the first couplet "Lotus seeds are bitter in heart".

The two sons knelt on the ground and cried out of breath and were heartbroken. They had no idea to make couplets with him. Jin Shengtan thought for a moment and said, "You two get up quickly and stop crying. I'll make couplets for you. " Then read out the bottom line of "pear (detached) son has stomachache"

The audience on the side were all moved and saddened. Jin Shengtan's homonym of "Lian" and "Xi" in the first couplet means that he is deeply sorry to see his son crying. The homonym of "pear" and "Li" in the second couplet means that I am about to leave my son, and my heart is bitter.

At this time, the executioner doesn't care about pears, lotus seeds and pairs. At that time, the supervisor there gave the order, waved a knife here, and the knife fell off.

What a wonderful golden sigh! Unexpectedly, before he died, he did not forget to meditate again. As soon as the head landed, two balls of paper rolled out of my ears. The executioner was confused. He picked it up and opened it. He saw the word "good" written on one paper ball and "pain" written on the other. Together, it is: pain!

It hurts! It really hurts! Jin Shengtan, the pain of cold and warm in his life, was completely relieved and fulfilled at this moment. The executioner's hand fell and his head fell to the ground!

Perhaps, in this world, Jin Shengtan is the only one who came crying, but let others watch him go with a smile.

In the eighteenth year of Shunzhi (16665438+August 7th, 0), it is said that it snowed early that year, and before the execution, it suddenly snowed in Jiangning, which was overwhelming and white. Jin Shengtan, wearing shackles, white hair and beard, dressed in cloth, walked furtively. In the face of this heartless heaven and the murderous land, he sang aloud: "Heaven mourns our land, and the rivers and mountains of Wan Li are covered with white heads. The sun will come to mourn tomorrow, and every household will have tears. "

After singing, the knife flashed and it became a swan song. Since then, the man who let Confucius sigh at birth has gone; It's just a sigh from Confucius. Is it a gentle ode to him or a heavy sigh? No one can solve the mystery of the ages, but behind Jin Shengtan, no one can make Confucius take such a long breath to hide his tears!
