As a result, the woman gave birth prematurely, but it was not a person, but a snake, a little white snake.

When a man saw that his woman gave birth to a monster, he was mad. Having just given birth, he ignored his weak body. He beat and cursed the woman, told her to get up and throw away the little white snake she gave birth to.

The woman looked at the little white snake she gave birth to. Although she was very scared, it was the meat that fell from her body after all. Women are still very reluctant. She struggled to get out of bed, and then carefully put the little white snake in a big pond behind her house.

After entering the water, the little white snake staggered in the water and became a white fat boy doll. Then, put your hands together, bow to the woman and enter the water again.

When the woman came back, she told her man what she had just seen. The man followed his woman to the pond behind the house, but where is the shadow of the boy doll at this moment? So the man gave his woman a beating and scolding, saying that the woman was crazy.

After that, that woman never dared to say anything to her man again. Every time that woman goes to the back of the house to wash rice, she secretly goes to see her baby behind the man's back. As soon as the little white snake saw her mother coming, she turned into a doll and went ashore to nurse in her mother's arms. After eating, he turned into a snake and swam back to the pond slowly.

After a month or two, the man was surprised to see his woman always running to the big pond behind the house. One day, he secretly followed the woman to inquire.

When a man saw something in his woman's arms, he immediately understood what was going on, so he turned around and took a shovel and ran away angrily.

The woman heard something moving behind her. Looking back, it turned out that her husband was coming with a shovel. He shook his head and threw the doll to the ground. After the doll fell to the ground, it immediately turned into a small white snake and swam to the big pond in a hurry.

When the man saw the little white snake, he immediately raised his shovel and shoveled it down at once. The little white snake couldn't dodge, and its tail was bloody shoveled off at once. Seeing this, the woman cried and desperately grabbed the shovel in the man's hand so that the injured little white snake could escape back to the big pond.

After returning home, the woman was beaten by the man again and was driven out of the house by the man.

After that, the man married another wife, and the woman was even less likely to go home.

Suddenly one day, dark clouds gathered around the broken kettle pond and it rained cats and dogs. With the lightning, a little white dragon stirred up the water in the big pond and rose high. Then the little white dragon took off and flew directly into the sky, but the little white dragon had no tail. This is the little white snake that that woman gave birth to a few years ago.

One day, the little white dragon returned to the earth and became an adult to find his mother. When he finally found his mother in a broken culvert near the broken kettle pond, he saw that her mother was old and weak. He told her that he was the little white snake she had raised in those years.

After the little white dragon mother and son met, they burst into tears. Xiao Bailong knows that his mother has suffered for him for so many years. He sympathized with his mother and hated his cruel father.

Xiaobailong took his mother to Hongze Town near leaky cauldron, told her to fill her stomach first, and then asked someone to wash and dress her and put on the new clothes and shoes he had just bought her. Then, Xiao Bailong took his mother to leaky cauldron and told her that he would take her to a good place to enjoy retirement.

Little white dragon told his mother to lie down on her body. He told her never to open her eyes until someone told her to do so.

The little white dragon was heartbroken and went back to the lake to look for his mother's body everywhere, but only found a shoe that he had just bought for his mother, and found nothing else.

After Xiao Bailong was heartbroken, he remembered that his cruel father had lost his tail. It was the cruel father who drove their mother and son out of the house, which led to the death of his mother. So the little white dragon found the man's house and set off a hurricane, which swept the man and the woman he married into the sky together with the house.

The little white dragon returned to the big pond and built a grave for his mother. He put the shoes he found in an empty grave and often came back to visit his mother during thunderstorms.

Later, many people witnessed a small white dragon with a broken tail. In a thunderstorm, it swam into a big pond for a long time. When the heavy rain stopped, it reluctantly left.

Later, when there was dry weather, people came to this big pond to ask for rain. When asking for rain, they must be spiritual. Later, fishermen went out to sea to fish in the lake, and when they came here for safety, it was bound to be smooth sailing, safe and adequate food.

That big pond, later called Lingchi by people in our area, has always enjoyed the incense of the people along Hongze Lake. Hundreds of years ago, with the ancient town of Hongze sinking into the bottom of Hongze Lake, that Lingchi became a part of Hongze Lake. It is also said that Lingchi is the bottomless 13-shop Datang near Hull Sluice.

(2) White

It is said that the little white dragon in the Lingchi of Hongze Lake is deeply loved by people along the lake. In fact, the identity of this little white dragon is extraordinary. He was originally the third prince of the West Sea Dragon King.

The third prince was originally a dragon, so he naturally played with skin. Because playing with skins caught fire, the jade emperor burned the luminous pearl given to the West Sea Dragon Palace, which angered the West Sea Dragon King.

The Dragon King of the West Sea told the Third Prince not to listen, and the Little White Dragon was arrested by the Jade Emperor's heavenly generals and hanged in the Long Ting. After being flogged by the 300 gods, he had to decide another day.

But Xiao Bailong's crime didn't get the punishment he deserved, and his life shouldn't be lost. It happened that the Guanyin Bodhisattva in the South China Sea fell from the sky, and he pitied the little white dragon that was tied to behead the dragon court. Guanyin Bodhisattva told the truth according to Xiaobailong, and he pleaded with the Jade Emperor for Xiaobailong. Looking at the Buddha's face of Guanyin Bodhisattva in Nanhai, the Jade Emperor pardoned the death of Xiaobailong.

However, capital crime can be avoided, and living crime is hard to forgive. The Jade Emperor changed the decree, demoted Xiaobailong and reincarnated, which made Xiaobailong suffer from the loss of his tail and mother in the 13th Tang Dynasty.

The broken kettle creek in this area was originally under the jurisdiction of the Dragon King of the East China Sea. The Dragon King of the East China Sea was very jealous when he saw that Xiaobailong was practicing ascension in the 13th Tang Dynasty and was still enjoying the spirit pool here, robbing him of his incense. So the Dragon King of the East China Sea went to the Jade Emperor to sue Xiaobailong, saying that Xiaobailong had disturbed the Dragon Palace in the East China Sea under his jurisdiction, and that Xiaobailong had killed his father and saved his mother in Broken Pot Creek. It was a big mistake.

When the Jade Emperor listened to the words of the Dragon King of the East China Sea, he demoted Xiaobailong to the mortal world and let Xiaobailong find a chance to make meritorious deeds and forgive his sins.

After being demoted again, Xiaobailong went ashore in Yingchoujian near Liusha River, Snake Mountain in the East China Sea, waiting for Tang Priest to go to the West to learn Buddhist scriptures, so as to protect Tang Priest from going to the West to learn Buddhist scriptures and make atonement.

This Liusha River is a tributary of the Yellow River flowing through the Huaihe River area, and it is named because the river carries the sediment flowing from the upstream to the downstream. This Eagle Creek is another big pond at the bottom of Hongze Lake.

Xiaobailong has been waiting for Tang Priest in this ravine for many years. However, when the Tang Priest really came to Hongze Town from this eagle sorrow stream one day, he didn't know each other.

No wonder Hongze Town was originally the land and water transportation center in the lower reaches of Huaihe River. There are too many monks and Taoists traveling from south to north. How do you let Xiaobailong know which monk Tang Yan is waiting for?

Because Xiaobailong didn't know the Tang Priest, when Tang Priest rode a white horse to Yingchouxi by the quicksand river, Xiaobailong had an argument with Marshal Zhu Bajie, who came before him. In a rage, he devoured the white horse that Tang Priest rode alive and caught it in Xianju, under Yingpitixi River.

This incident angered the Monkey King, who was a great disciple who went to the Western Heaven with Tang Priest. Is the big monkey a thing to be despised?

Po Hou, who once made a scene in Heaven, has just been released from the foot of Wuzhishan Mountain. He was ordered by the Buddha to escort the Tang Priest to the West for Buddhist scriptures. Now he has lost his master in Yingbei Creek near Xiaoshushan River. How can he stop?

Wukong heard that the pig idiot had lost his master in this Eagle Pit Creek, so he asked the pig idiot to stand by and abuse loudly, provoking the little white dragon to go out and fight.

That little white dragon is a strong-willed dragon. How can he stand the abuse of Bajie? Before Pig could speak, he had gone out with a gun.

After a big battle, Xiao Bailong couldn't beat the Monkey King, so he plunged into the underwater sword house. The Great Sage is a master of heaven and earth, but there is nothing he can do with this underwater dragon. So the Great Sage took his stubborn head to the East China Sea to get even with the local East China Sea Dragon King.

When the Dragon King of the East China Sea saw the Great Sage coming to ask questions, he answered carefully, truthfully told the place where Xiaobailong came, and sent big prince from the Dragon Palace of the East China Sea to Yingchoujian with the Great Sage to find Xiaobailong.

This Dragon Palace in the East China Sea is related to the Dragon Palace in the West China Sea. The Big Prince and the East China Sea Little White Dragon are cousins who grew up together. But because the Dragon King of the East China Sea sued the small white dragon in heaven, they have now forged a feud.

Then the big prince didn't come to pay back the money, and wasted time to aggravate the resentment of the little white dragon, so the words were lovers. When the two dragon lords were at odds, they fought. Only the Liusha River rose, and the eagle worried that the river would flood and the adjacent lakes would be flooded. Only the innocent people on both sides of the stream, lake and Liuzhou River suffered.

When the owner of Liushahe saw this, he reported it to Huang Huai Er Shen. Just when Er Shen panicked, a lucky cloud flew in the sky. It turned out that Guanyin Bodhisattva had arrived in the South China Sea.

Guanyin Bodhisattva put her hands together in the air and shouted, "Little White Dragon, stop it! Don't complain more and don't wait on your master! "

Xiao Bailong looked for fame and saw the Buddha calling him. With a wave of his gun, he dodged, flew to the Buddha's side, gave up his gun and squatted down to kowtow.

Seeing this, the Great Sage also flew over, raised his golden cudgel to hit the little white dragon, and was stopped by Guanyin.

When the Great Sage was unknown, the Bodhisattva explained the cause and effect to the Great Sage. The Great Sage smiled. It turns out that this is a younger brother prepared by the Bodhisattva here for him.

Hearing this, Xiao Bailong said nothing more from the Bodhisattva. He hurriedly bowed to the Great Sage and prayed for forgiveness from the elder brother.

Bodhisattva was very happy to see that the two brothers and sisters knew each other and made up, but seeing that Little White Dragon had swallowed Master's white horse, she asked Little White Dragon, What should we do now?

Xiao Bailong thanked the Bodhisattva for saving his life. He volunteered to become a white horse for his master to ride. Bodhisattva smiled and agreed, giving the little white dragon a chance to make a positive result in the future.

It is not easy to turn the white dragon into a horse. Is to let the white dragon endure the pain of picking dragon balls, sawing dragon horns and uncovering dragon forest. The little white dragon wanted to be grateful and asked the bodhisattva to fulfill him.

Guanyin Bodhisattva knew that Xiaobailong was sincere, so she cast a spell to take off the pearls under Xiaobailong's neck, then gently brushed Yang Liuzhi, dipped in a drop of nectar, wet the body for Xiaobailong, and sawed off the scales, and instantly turned Xiaobailong into a vigorous and agile white dragon, making Xiaobailong convert to Buddhism.

Since then, Xiaobailong has escorted Tang Priest to the Western Heaven and provided mounts for Tang Priest along the way. He worked hard and went through hardships, and finally made atonement and made contributions.

After returning from the Buddhist scriptures in the Western Heaven, Xiaobailong surpassed Fanlong and was canonized as a divine horse by the Jade Emperor Bai, becoming one of the thirty horses that the Jade Emperor rode.

(3) Baima Lake

According to legend, the Monkey King and Tang Bao returned from the Western Heaven. After the flat peach party with the Queen Mother, he will return to Guo Hua in Lianyungang to continue his happy life.

When Sun left the Western Heaven, he remembered Bai, who went to the Western Heaven with him to learn Buddhist scriptures. Accompanying Tang Priest in the Western Heaven for nothing has made great contributions. At this time, he was also in the class and became one of the thirty horses that the Jade Emperor rode.

The Great Sage left the sky to untie the white dragon rein and let his brother go down to earth to have fun. So I took this opportunity in vain and took the Great Sage to Hongze Lake. He became a fine-featured scholar named Ma Congxian and came to a small market town on the west bank of East Marseille Lake in Hongze Lake.

Ma Congxian is smart, knowledgeable and helpful, and is admired by the residents in the town. He soon married the previously secret Lotus Fairy and fell in love with each other.

Later, Heaven caught Sun and pushed him back to the foot of Wuzhishan. When Xinbi counted the imperial horses, he found that Bai had disappeared. So he told the Jade Emperor that the Jade Emperor sent an imperial envoy to the mortal world to look for it, and found the missing white and the secret lotus fairy in a small town near Malay Lake.

When the Jade Emperor heard that Bai and the Lotus Fairy went down to earth privately, he was furious and immediately ordered Leigongshan to arrest them. After being struck by lightning, she rolled in pain, and the lotus fairy was also sent by the heavenly queen to catch her.

When the lotus fairy was caught in the sky, she saw that the wind was blowing hard and it was raining hard, and the ground had become a water country. The kind lotus fairy couldn't bear to see this. She threw hundreds of lotus seeds into the lotus, and 99 of them fell into the lake, becoming 99 islands (also called 99 piers) in the lake. People climbed up the island one by one to avoid being submerged by the lake.

Then, the local villagers knew that this kind scholar was white from the sky, and it was the lotus fairy from the sky who saved them from planting the island.

In order to thank the white couple for their kindness, the villagers of Ninety-nine Island made love and asked the Jade Emperor to forgive the white couple. Although the Jade Emperor was not moved by the villagers' righteous actions, the cigarettes lit by the villagers on 99 islands were dazzling, which fascinated Lei Gong's eyes and allowed Bai to escape.

After Bai escaped, he immediately turned into a lake of autumn water, and he was able to stay in the world forever, accompanied by the lotus in the lake forever. The lotus in the lake is the one of the 100 lotus seeds left by the lotus fairy that has not become an island!

People in our district renamed Malai Lake "Baima Lake" to commemorate the Bai couple.

In recent years, Huai 'an City and Hongze District have intensified the development of Baima Lake Scenic Area, implemented returning farmland to the lake, and built Baima Lake Park, Baima Lake along the lake avenue, cruise terminal and corresponding pavilions, pavilions and plank roads. Baima Lake Scenic Area has reached a considerable scale, and the number of tourists is increasing. Baima Lake is being presented to the world with its ancient and beautiful appearance.
