Plot:

During World War II, a million troops landed on Normandy beach, and a small group of American soldiers, led by Captain Johnny Miller (played by Tom Hanks), went deep into enemy-occupied areas and risked their lives to save a soldier James Ryan (played by Matt Damon). James Ryan is the eldest of four brothers in the family, and all three of his brothers were killed in this battle.
