However, King Jinghe was executed by heaven for changing the time without authorization. Later, Yuan Shoucheng used some means to put all the responsibility on the emperor at that time. In order to avoid his own disaster, the emperor sent Tang Priest to learn from the West. At this time, Yuan Shoucheng's intention of crossing Buddhism to the east was achieved.

Therefore, some people think that Yuan Shoucheng is selfish. He killed King Jinghe for his Buddhism. But personally, I think that King Jinghe's death was caused by himself, and Yuan Shoucheng was just a promotion. If King Jinghe didn't change the rain time himself, he wouldn't be put to death because he didn't do his job well and abused his power.
