The most prosperous temple in Zhoukou

1. Taihaoling Temple is located in Huaiyang County, Zhoukou City, Henan Province, the old capital of Huang Xi. It was built more than 3000 years ago. It is said to be the tomb of Tai Hao, the ancestor, and is known as the "Holy Land of the Ancestors of the Emperors in the World". Since ancient times, incense has flourished, and only the emperor has come here to offer sacrifices for 52 times, which is the highest in Zhoukou Temple.

There are hundreds of thousands of tourists at Taihaoling Temple Fair, which is the largest and oldest folk temple fair in China. At the peak, there were about 825,000 tourists a day, which was recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records.
