Buddhist fortune-telling book _ Buddhist fortune-telling book

Why is fortune telling a taboo for Buddhist learners?

Buddhist precepts prohibit people who study Buddhism from telling fortune. Although some books also write things similar to fortune telling, there are "One Palm Classic" and so on. Now some TV dramas shoot Guanyin with their fingers, which are all made up by later generations.

Buddhism was born more than 2,500 years ago, and was founded by Gautama Siddharta, the prince of Kapilovi Kingdom (now Nepal) in ancient India (refer to Buddha's birthday). Western countries generally believe that Buddhism originated in India, and India is actually trying to shape the image of a "Buddhist holy land". This has caused many people to have the illusion that the Buddha was born in India, which has always made the Nepalese people dissatisfied. Buddhism is also one of the three major religions in the world. Buddha means "awakening". Buddha is also known as Tathagata, repentance, enlightenment, clear behavior, good death, worldly solution, supreme teacher, mediator, teacher of heaven and man, and Buddha. Buddhism attaches importance to the progress and consciousness of human mind and morality. The purpose of practicing Buddhism is to discover the truth of life and the universe according to Siddhartha's practice method, and finally transcend life and death and suffering, cut off all troubles and get relief.
