Guiguzi is a strategic work praised by the world, and it is also a classic handed down from generation to generation full of mystery.

But Guiguzi was born in the Warring States period, when a hundred schools of thought contended. His thought is complicated and bizarre, which goes against human morality. So it was abandoned by Confucian scholars such as Ouyang Xiu. It is a dangerous thing to study Guiguzi's thoughts. People dare not take the world by storm, so there are few research works left in the world.

Is Guiguzi's idea really that unbearable?

Fortunately, this book can be preserved from the plight of burning books in the war and passed down from generation to generation, so that we contemporary people have the privilege of seeing the "banned books". Its spread also proves that Guiguzi's thought is in line with social life and has strong vitality.

The most authoritative annotation of Guiguzi comes from Tao Hongjing, but Tao's academic background is Zhuangzi's philosophy and immortal Taoism, which is very different from Guiguzi. Therefore, Tao's comments on Guiguzi are often taken out of context, unclear in logic and full of fallacies. However, it is still an introductory reading for Guiguzi, at least it opens the door for future generations to study Guiguzi's thoughts.

At present, few people seriously study guiguzi. Most people just borrow the shell of Guiguzi, or just act as Google translator, or explain the meaning of the text far-fetched, grab a sentence or two, and barely explain it, turning Guiguzi's thoughts into omnipotent oil, making it mysterious, propping up Guiguzi and raising themselves. In fact, it is a golden treasure.

Or the level of understanding is not enough, or eager to get famous, or out of the need to avoid obscurity, none of the surviving works have explained Guiguzi!

What exactly is Guiguzi talking about? !

Let's first meet the two great disciples of Guiguzi recorded in Historical Records.

One is Su Qin, which promotes the alliance of the six countries and hangs the national seal of the six countries; One is Yi Cheung, who was sent by Su Qin to the State of Qin as a spy and was later broken by Lian Heng. What did they do to stir up the situation and have sex?

-Just one mouth. It's a rhetoric that always touches people's hearts.

They were militarists in the Warring States period, militarists in the ninth stream, and well-known lobbyists who were admired and despised.

They practice lobbying, and their teacher is the originator of lobbying ideas.

Therefore, Guiguzi is just a theoretical work on lobbying, a textbook for lobbyists, and it is about how to communicate with others, promote their own views and influence others' decisions.

Guiguzi stresses attack and feelings, which seems rough and black, but it is an inevitable requirement of communication. What he achieved was the art of speech, which brought factual results. Su Qin unified the six countries, and Qin did not dare to leave Hangu Pass for fifteen years, which brought a rare era of peace to the people of the East.

The success brought by lip service is really hateful, but this is not a reason to slander.
