What are the legends about the origin of temple names?

The shrine is a place dedicated to Guan Yu, but why not name it Guandi Temple and call it a shrine? It is said that there are two opinions. First, Xitang people respect Confucius as Wen Sheng and Guan Yu as a military commander, hence the name "Temple"; Second, according to legend, when Emperor Qianlong went down to the south of the Yangtze River, he was here, and saints came up, so he called it a shrine.

The temple has a long history in Xitang. It was founded in 1575 and renamed as Jingjue Temple in 1668. 158 1 year and 17 1 1 year were rebuilt twice.
