Lin Huajia regrets to see that the world's first archaeological museum with the theme of the Book of Changes was not established in China, but in the United States. It contains seven thousand years ago hexagrams, such as Tai hexagrams, Fu hexagrams and Dama hexagrams, as well as sacrificial vessels that can emit six ancient true hexagrams. Western Yi-ology has surpassed us in many aspects. It was not until 1987 (presided over by Professor Liu Dajun of Shandong University) that we had the first international seminar on Zhouyi. China students should ask foreigners for the most basic knowledge of easy learning; Domestic college students don't know what the five-element map is, and when it comes to Zhouyi, they think it is a fortune-telling book or a Confucian work. Carrying forward Yi-ology has a long way to go!

Of course, in modern times with advanced science and technology, we should correctly understand fortune-telling (the culture of art and numbers), and we must never attribute all the Yi studies to this. From the philosophical point of view, in essence, the philosophy of "change" means "change", "change is poor, change is common, and the general principle is long" is a philosophy of survival and development through change; Zhouyi includes thinking in images, symbolic thinking, logical thinking, probabilistic thinking, scientific thinking, holistic thinking and model thinking. Using the wisdom of Yi-ology, we can use different ways of thinking according to different situations and improve our ability to analyze and solve problems. At the same time, Zhouyi contains scientific ideas such as dichotomy of yin and yang, permutation and combination, and moment correction. Yi-ology can greatly promote the development of science, solve problems that modern science cannot solve or provide ideas.
