On the first day of junior high school, families usually stay at home, enjoying food, fire and chatting. Every morning, noon and evening, we will burn incense, paper and set off firecrackers on time.

But some people have to go out and make wishes on this day. People in our village usually go to Bao Xu Village to make a wish, because there is a big stage and a temple there. It is said that Bao Xuren in our village is a descendant who moved to his present address from Bao Xu village hundreds of years ago.

Many people bring chickens, pigeons, sheep and other animals to the temple to be slaughtered and make a wish to Dai. In those days, people liked lottery tickets, fortune telling, making wishes and so on. It is usually done on the first day of the first month. Wishing is mainly to pray for peace, health, prosperous business, study, promotion, marriage and so on.

On the second day of the second day, the most lively thing on that day was to pay New Year's greetings. When we were young, we followed a big brother every year. He took a dozen children from door to door to ask for candy. In the first few years, I only went to more than a dozen during the Chinese New Year. One year, I visited all forty or fifty families in our village. It was not until noon that the New Year ended. Every child's plastic bag is full of candy, popcorn, and even cigarettes bought during the New Year. That kind of happiness cannot be expressed in words.

When I go home, I usually give my father the cigarettes I got during the Chinese New Year. One year, my father didn't blame me for smoking. I smoked nearly 20 cigarettes in one breath after New Year's greetings and had a headache all day. I haven't touched cigarettes since then, and now I don't smoke at all.

On the third day, the taste of the year was a little weak. On the second day of the first grade, the average family will burn incense, paper and guns three times a day in the morning, at noon and at night. On this day, after the last performance, the items on lions, dry boats and wax flower pots will be taken away by villagers and taken home to pray for good luck. When I was a child, the community fires in Sunpo, Yawan and Dahuazui all came to our village, and the community fires in our village also came to Yawan, Dahuazui and Mazui.
