Historical Changes of Sishui Pavilion in Peixian County

In the following two thousand years, due to the change of Surabaya, the address and scale of the post station also changed. In the first year of Qin Long in the Ming Dynasty (A.D. 1567), Sishuiting Station was located in the east of Xinjiaxiang in Nanguan County, with the following posts: boat 1 1, sailor 165438, laity 1, sundries 1 and donkey 6544. The following year, the post station moved to Chongsheng Temple in Xiazhen (now Weishan County, Shandong Province). During the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, Sishuiting Station was 90 kilometers away from Jining Station in Shandong Province and 50 kilometers away from Yutai Station in Shandong Province. During the reign of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty, Sishuiting Station was destroyed by an earthquake. In the early years of Guangxu, Qing Dynasty, it was restored as the official residence of Xiazhenmen Chen Shengliang. In the third year of Xuantong in Qing Dynasty (A.D. 19 1 1), it was destroyed by soldiers. In the first year of the Republic of China (A.D. 19 12), post offices were set up nationwide, while Xuzhou and its surrounding post offices were abolished. Because the Yellow River burst many times and Surabaya was diverted, a section south of Jining Road and Bridge in Shandong Province has been merged into the Grand Canal. Under the bridge, the name of the ancient Sishui Road remains empty. The Sishui Pavilion in history has long since disappeared because of the flood of the Yellow River.
