What is the "Huangqiao Incident"?

The battle of Huangqiao, also known as the Huangqiao Incident, was a battle in which the New Fourth Army of the Soviet Union fought back against the Kuomintang die-hards in order to defend the anti-Japanese base areas in the Soviet Union.

1940, the jiangbei headquarters of the new fourth army led by Chen Yi defeated the 15000 government army led by Han Deqin, chairman of Jiangsu province, with 7,000 troops, and annihilated more than 1 1000 people, thus winning the decisive battle of Huangqiao.
