How to get along with a monk master correctly?

When a master becomes a monk, he must practice. Practice is greed without wisdom, and hard practice is to prevent wisdom. The laity is the protector, so we should protect Master's practice, his purity, his precepts, his wisdom and all sentient beings.

But many lay people don't understand. They are very enthusiastic about taking care of the temple and the master.

A layman with deep feelings will always be enthusiastic about protecting Master, almost taking care of Master as a parent or son.

Laymen who pay attention to their health will pay special attention to Master's health, and they will often give supplements to Master and take care of the patient.

Laymen who like to play often take Master around and take care of her as a tourist.

A layman who likes to get rich, get promoted, and seek happiness often asks Master to do Buddhist services to eliminate disasters, and even asks Master to look at Feng Shui, treating Master as a god of wealth and a fortune teller.

Laity people who like to chat are often bored to make tea with Master, talk about their family, and entertain themselves with Master as a secular friend.

The most taboo is that laymen, regardless of sex, are too close to each other, causing gossip and seriously damaging the image of Buddhism, with disastrous consequences in the future.

On one occasion, a star sadly appealed to his family not to treat Master as an escort, but to eat, play and chat with him. ...

The above-mentioned laymen are all stupid laymen who don't know the law. Monks should be convenient to stay away and pay attention to their own law, body and wisdom.

When the sixth ancestor Huineng was a layman, he went to the fifth ancestor of Huangmei first. Wuzu asked, "Where are you from? What do you want? "

Huineng said to him, "My disciple is the person who leads the South New Country. I came from afar to worship my ancestors, but I wanted to become a Buddha, not a remnant. "

A layman who comes to the temple to be close to a monk must become a Buddha like the six ancestors to get rid of the cycle of life and death, which is the real Buddhist. Buddha rejoices, Bodhisattva admires, and dragon day naturally protects!

If a lay man goes to a monastery only for the good fortune of the world, then he comes to Buddhism for nothing. The goal of Buddhist teachings is to solve things that money can't solve: life and death, the six divisions in the wheel of karma.

There is a Dojo between Master and laity, which is very admirable. Once, a layman bought a cake for Master's birthday in the evening and was scolded by the head of the layman: Don't you know that Master stopped eating after noon? You caused Master to break the precepts and go to hell, and you will suffer in the future! Don't give anything to master in the afternoon. If Master needs it, Master will take it himself, and Master will regret not eating it in time. We lay people do not harm the master, but also harm ourselves.

Some lay people want to invite Master to be a vegetarian, but the person in charge of the lay people won't allow it: Don't you understand that Master should practice with peace of mind? How can we let Master relax before he has finished his career?

The master of this Dojo holds a money ring in his hand, which is a Buddhist ring that does not touch money or save money. If necessary, laymen will provide it. The host here does not participate in any Buddhist activities, such as cleaning the house for Buddhists, or attending Buddhist weddings and funerals. He is only responsible for teaching scriptures and giving lectures every Sunday, guiding people to correctly understand Buddhism and return to Amitabha in the West. Therefore, the master here basically doesn't go to the house of laymen, but usually practices Buddhism in the Dojo.

The laity here dare not chat and drink tea with Master casually, nor are they allowed to talk about family affairs with Master casually. They can only ask Master for advice on Buddhism. Because Master has not yet become a Buddha and is practicing, it is necessary to protect Master's childlike heart. Becoming a monk is not easy. A layman must know how to protect his master and practice the precepts before he can become a monk, and his merits are boundless! Because of his achievements, he can measure infinite beings. On the other hand, if you don't know how to protect, give Master a good meal and a good place to live, and give Master a mobile phone and a computer, which will make Master lose his mind and eventually degenerate. Do you have the heart, layman?

In order to communicate with Taoist priests, teachers and disciples must return to the consciousness of pure equality without fame, wealth and money. To become a Buddha is to leave the cycle of life and death, to get rid of vulgarity, to get rid of wisdom and to be unmoved. The Buddha warned his disciples to abide by the four laws. Did we follow them?

Coming to Buddhism is still a lot of worldly things: pursuing money and fame, playing, eating, drinking and having fun, paying attention to food and shelter, complaining about the poor treatment in temples and too few red envelopes ... The consequence after that is: I can't live in this life, and I will pay it back with my hair and horns.

How to intersect by Tao? Grandfather always said, life and death matter! When Buddhist disciples are together, they should always talk about the danger of life and death, remind each other to see through the feelings of fame and fortune, let go of vanity and return to the original Buddha nature. Buddhists should remind each other to be honest, to practice diligently and to stay away from the eight laws of the world.

May our Buddhist disciples, whether they become monks at home or not, do their duty, become monks, practice well and preach the Dharma well, and be guided by Buddhism at home. In this way, Buddhism will flourish, Buddhism will last for a long time, all Buddhas will be happy, all beings will have a blessing, and Amitabha will have a blessing.
