How to divide southern Anhui and northern Anhui?

The division of this area is mainly bounded by the Yangtze River.

Southern Anhui includes Huangshan, Chizhou, Xuancheng, Tongling, Wuhu, Maanshan and other areas. Some areas span the Yangtze River, but the main part of the city is south of the Yangtze River. Other cities in Anhui belong to northern Anhui. This division originated from the establishment of administrative offices in northern Anhui and southern Anhui after liberation.

Specifically, northern Anhui includes Bengbu, Fuyang, Huaibei, Suzhou, Bozhou, Huainan and other places. Central Anhui includes Lu 'an, Hefei, Chuzhou and Anqing.
