Annual power generation of Lingshanjiang Hydropower Station in Longyou, Zhejiang Province

Mu Chen Reservoir is located in Mu Chen Township, Longyou County, on the main stream of Lingshan River, a tributary of the right bank of Qujiang River in the upper reaches of Qiantang River.

The dam site of the reservoir is located at about150m upstream of Mu Chen Town, about 30km away from Longyou County, and the power station is located at1.5km upstream of Xikou Town. Mu Chen Reservoir is a large-scale water conservancy project with flood control, water supply and irrigation, combined with power generation and comprehensive utilization of water environment improvement, with a total investment of about 46 1.24 million yuan. The total storage capacity of the reservoir is 1257 1000 cubic meters, the installed capacity of the power station is 12600 kilowatts, and the average power generation for many years is 38.33 million kwh. The barrage adopts concrete face rockfill dam, with a maximum dam height of 56.9 meters, a crest width of 6 meters and a dam length of 444 meters. The power station is a diversion ground power station with a construction area of 55 1 m2, and has two 6,300 kW Francis turbine-generator sets. The project started construction on June 5, 2006+February, and was put into use in April 2009. In August of the same year, it was officially connected to the grid for power generation. After the project is completed, it can effectively protect the downstream farmland, towns and the urban areas along Lingshan River in Longyou County from floods, which is of great significance for improving the investment environment and promoting local economic development in Longyou County.
