Where is the Longde Ancient Temple in Pujiang?

Pujiang Longde Ancient Temple is located in Tashan Park, Pujiang County, Jinhua City. The original Longde Ancient Temple was destroyed, leaving only one Longde Temple Tower.

Longde Temple Tower was built in the ninth year of the Northern Song Dynasty (10 16). It is located at the foot of Longfeng Mountain in the east of Pujiang County, named after Longde Temple. Longde Temple Tower is 36 meters high, with seven floors and six sides, and it is hollow. Each floor of the six sides has a two-meter-high arched doorway with six doors facing each other. Outside the tower, the original wooden tower eaves, flat seats, bucket arches and cornices are tilted and stretched out in the air. The stairs pass through the tower wall, cross inside and outside, fold up repeatedly, and you can climb it.

Later, the wooden structure was destroyed by the fire, and people could only watch it outside or on the ground floor. But this does not affect its splendor, nor does it affect people's love for it.

Present situation of Longde Temple Tower:

Longde Temple Tower is a typical brick and wood tower in the south of the Yangtze River in Song Dynasty. The tower retains some architectural features of the Song Dynasty, which is of great value to the study of high-rise buildings in the Song Dynasty.

Longde Temple Tower has been a landmark building and symbol of Pujiang for thousands of years. It has been a good place to visit scenic spots since ancient times. Ancient literati, such as Liu Guan, Wu Lai, Song Lian, Qian Weishan, Zhang Yinghuai and Cao Kaitai, all left famous articles praising the Longde Temple Tower. 1963 Zhejiang Provincial People's Committee announced Longde Temple Tower as the second batch of provincial cultural relics protection units. In 20 13, Longde Temple Tower was announced by the State Council as the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units.
