The whole tower is exquisitely shaped and well preserved, which is extremely rare among the Song Pagoda in the province. When the Song Pagoda was restored in the early 1990s, archaeologists found a large number of cultural relics on the top two floors, among which a bronze seven-level pavilion square pagoda cast in the sixth year of the Northern Song Dynasty (1054) was particularly eye-catching. There is also a well-preserved old street in front of the Tayuan, which is now a historical and cultural protection area in Zhejiang Province.
