Brief introduction of Daokou township

Daokou Township is located in the northwest of Junan County, and Zhongdaokou Village, the resident of the township government, is 16 kilometers away from the county seat. It is adjacent to Yanbin Town in the east, Shilianzi Town in the west, Lingquan Town in the south, dadian town in the north and Hedong District in the southwest. The terrain is high in the west and low in the east, and the plain area accounts for 83.9%. Shuhe River flows 4.6 kilometers in China and Lugou River flows 3 kilometers in China. Liang (Dian)-Yi (South), Dao (Kou)-Tang (Tou) and Dao (Kou)-Da (Dian) highways meet in China. The township was newly divided in May 1984, and now it has jurisdiction over 33 administrative villages and 42 natural villages, with a population of 36,000, a total area of 53 square kilometers and a cultivated land area of 42,000 mu.
