Can pupils be Taoist priests?

Pupils are not allowed to be Taoist priests, they are minors. They should receive nine-year compulsory education, concentrate on their studies, develop in an all-round way, receive formal education and cultivate good moral quality.

Taoist refers to people who practice in Taoism. To become a Taoist, you usually need to meet some conditions, such as age, good health and family consent. And you usually need some study and training to become a qualified Taoist.
