From the east highland in Fengtai District to the south, along the national highway 104 southbound, in the northwest of Daxing Nangong 1.5km, on the right side of the road not far from North Putuo Film and Television City, a tens of acres of high platform in Fiona Fang stands out from the crowd on the flat ground. Hundreds of years ago, the emperor marched and trained here. This high platform is the place where the emperor reviewed the army and showed his strength. 16 There are only two high platforms left. Now this platform is covered with poplars, shrubs and weeds. However, in the Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, it was a part of Nanhaizi, a royal garden, and it was called Eagle Hanging Platform, also known as Training Platform.

In ancient China, emperors often built some buildings with high sides and flat roofs in royal gardens. This is "Taiwan Province", now called "Taiwan Province". "There are three emperors: Lingtai observes astronomy, Shitai observes the four seasons, and Taitai observes birds, animals, fish and turtles" in Xu Shen's Five Classics. Nanhaizi was a famous garden in Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, which raised animals and "hunted fields because of agricultural gaps". Therefore, this eagle-mounted platform should be classified as "platform".

By the end of the Qing Dynasty, most of Nanhaizi's "Taiwan" was gradually razed to the ground, or cultivated land, or villages were built on its old site. For example, Dataizi in the northwest of Nanhaizi and Santaishan in the northeast, but "Dataizi" and "Santaishan" have been passed down as place names so far.

In the Qing Dynasty, the eagle platform was an important place for the emperor to hunt and train military forces. According to historical records such as Qing Hui Dian, the emperor shunzhi, Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty often held grand military parades on the Eagle Hanging Platform.

On the 20th day of the first month of the 12th year of Emperor Kangxi in Qing Dynasty (1673), Emperor Kangxi read the Eight Banners on the Eagle Hanging Platform. At 7 o'clock in the morning, Emperor Kangxi drove from today's old palace to Sun Eagle Terrace. The official team was arranged on the two wings of the west side of the Eagle Terrace and was reviewed by Emperor Kangxi. After Emperor Kangxi's military parade, he ordered an arrow target under the eagle platform, with bows and arrows. "I shot five shots and got three arrows." Then he ordered the minister and the guard to shoot in turn. Emperor Kangxi reviewed their arrow surgery, turned over and mounted the horse, and galloped away. He immediately took an arrow, pulled a bow, turned and aimed at the target. "One shot", the Eight Banners shouted for a long time. At that time, the leaders of Horqin, Zasak, Bahrain and Erdos 15 ethnic tribes also attended the meeting. Therefore, the eagle hanging platform is also called the training platform. Today, although the Eagle Hanging Platform has become a relic, the Forbidden City in Beijing still preserves the historical picture of reading in the Qing Dynasty.
