Pang Qing (Simplified Chinese: Pang Qing; Traditional Chinese: Pang Qing; Pinyin: páng qěng；; 1born in Harbin, Heilongjiang on February 24th, 1979) is a pair skater in China. She and her partner Tong Jian are silver medalists in the 20 10 Olympic Games, world champions in 2006 and 20 10, four-time champions in four continents (in 2002, 2004, 2008 & amp2009) and grand prix finals in 2008.

Pang was born in Harbin, the hometown of double skating in China. She started skating at the age of six. She first took part in a solo skating competition. On 1993, coach Yao Bin arranged her and Tong together, and they have been skating together ever since.

When Yao moved to Beijing, Pang and Tong trained without a coach. It was not until 1997 that they resumed training under Yao's guidance.

Pang Hetong's youth career is not outstanding, which may be because there was no youth grand prix when they skated in their youth. They won 14, 9 and 8 in the World Junior Figure Skating Championships between 1997 and 1999. After that, they went to senior year.

Pang Hetong won the silver medal in 1997 China national championship, but it was not until 1999 that he represented China in the world championship. They were the national champions of China in 2000. They finished their season with a disappointing fifth place in the world championship.

In the 2008-2009 season, Pang and Tong experienced another difficult competition in their first event "China Cup". Many critics don't think highly of them, such as Paul Willie and Tracy Wilson. Nevertheless, they went on to win their next grand prix and finals twice. In that season, they made history. They won a record fourth championship on four continents, and now they have won more championships on four continents than anyone else. Although they have built up the momentum, they once again disappointed in the world championship, and they once again stepped off the podium.

In the 2009-20 10 season, Pang Hetong defeated all the world medal winners in the last World Championships in the final of the Grand Prix, and won their two Grand Prix titles and a silver medal.
