I just bought an 80eq astronomical telescope. Please look for the locations of planets and various constellations.

With all due respect, the landlord reversed the order of two important things: buying a telescope and knowing the constellation. As far as my personal experience is concerned, it is strongly recommended that novices who don't understand constellations buy binoculars quickly, because in most cases they can only be used as decorations. Now I have done everything I have to do, practice my basic skills and make myself one of the few.

Jupiter will rise from the east before sunrise. The darkest of the two brightest stars is Venus, and there is another planet in their east (below)-Mars. Although it is cloudy in Shanghai today, I can't see many stars, but in my heart, I know the general orientation and arrangement of the constellations. Without him, only hands are familiar.

When I first learned astronomy in high school, every sunny night, I would go for a walk in the garden of the community to find the stars in the sky and identify them. I made many mistakes, but after four seasons, I became friends with them. This is also the most fascinating memory of high school life ~ tell me some of my own experiences:

The best material you need is an active star map. Ten dollars can buy a good work, which is the only weapon for beginners. Of course, there are many astronomical software now. For example, I am used to using Stellarium, which is very good and powerful. But for beginners, it is not recommended, because it is too convenient, without thinking and frustration, but it is not easy to get started. When you feel that the activity map is not enough, you need to find a level 6 all-day map. Congratulations, the telescope won't be a decoration.

As for the way to identify constellations, we should start with the most obvious signs of the starry sky, such as the current autumn starry sky, the most obvious sign is the Pegasus quadrangle. Along the northeast of the quadrangle, you can find Andromeda and Perseus, Cassiopeia is in the north, and Cepheus is between Cassiopeia and Polaris ... Pisces, Triangle and Aries in the southwest of Pegasus ... The two stars in the west extend three times to the south and find the only first-class star in the autumn sky-Beiluoshimen. I won't list them one by one. Take the first one as an example. Even an experienced observer like me, it is difficult to find Cepheus at a glance, but it is not too difficult to follow the map with the Star Bridge. But it would be too challenging to start directly with Cepheus.

Watch the first two or three days of a season, write down the most important signs of the starry sky, such as the big arc in spring, the big triangle in summer and the hexagon in winter ... and then follow the bright stars to find some constellations with medium brightness. For example, from the spring arc to the south to find the crow's nest, and then to find those scattered constellations For example, it's easy to find the northern crown through arcturus in the Spring Triangle, but it's not so easy to recognize Wuxian in the East. Although this constellation is not black, it is too scattered. You can recognize the constellations of five immortals and Aquarius, and you can also draw the position of the ecliptic. Only you can know where the five elements are.

As for the telescope, say a few words:

When the weather and the moon are fine, you might as well look for the moon. It is definitely more difficult to use than the landlord imagined, so it is recommended to install it during the day.

Don't expect too much from the visual effect of the public telescope. There are only two celestial bodies that will not let you down: the moon and the Pleiades.
