The "Second Classroom" of the School —— Greening

I arrived at school early in the rain, didn't go to the office, and was anxious to see the trees in the spring rain.

When I came to the new campus early last year, I saw few trees, and my heart was deserted. Trees play an irreplaceable role in the greening of schools and the growth of students. They are not beautification in the general sense, but the "second classroom" that sets off the scholarly atmosphere of the school, inspires teachers and students to meditate and communicate, and inspires people to forge ahead.

At present, there are 50 or 60 kinds of seedlings in experimental middle schools, and the green area is expanding rapidly. Trees, shrubs, turf and various woody and herbal flowers are enough for people to recognize for half a day.

Ginkgo trees should be the most eye-catching and abundant in the school. The trunk is straight, upright and awe-inspiring. The leaves are green in spring and golden in autumn, which have ornamental value. Ginkgo biloba grows slowly and has dense wood. It is a good wood, and the ginkgo biloba produced can also be eaten. After the leaves are processed, it is still a good antihypertensive drug.

Ginkgo biloba and dinosaurs are contemporary, known as "living fossils" and have a life span of thousands of years. A thousand-year-old ginkgo in Daimiao, Taishan, and a few hundred-year-old ginkgo in Migong Temple on the bank of Hanshui River. Ginkgo biloba, including the Dai Temple in Ye 'an, Shanxi Province, which is 6,000 years old, has become an excellent landscape.

The characteristics of Ginkgo biloba leaves with one handle and two leaves symbolize the opposition and harmony of things, which is very consistent with the "competition and cooperation" culture in our experimental middle school. We should not only stand on the world by competition, but also cultivate physical and mental harmony. Just opposition and harmony. Maybe ginkgo can be the "school tree" of our school.

Ginkgo biloba is mainly distributed in the most conspicuous places that can be seen just after entering the north and south gates of the school.

Pu Shu. In front of the comprehensive building, in the east of the teaching building, there is a large lobular Pu Shu. At the same time, behind the teaching building and east of the gymnasium, there is a Pu Shu.

Pu Shu is also called Park Elm, which is similar to elm leaves. Last year, it was successfully pulled out, and the thin branches were green and beautiful under the blue sky.

The beech tree planted on campus has a good homonym. In ancient scientific research, there were two theories: "lifting people" and "lifting children". Therefore, in the past, planting beech trees beside the stone in front of the house was a homonym of "raising beech trees on hard stones".

The leaves of Zelkova schneideriana are similar to elms and belong to Ulmaceae. Zelkova schneideriana has always been a national protected tree species, and it is one of the unique and precious tree species in China.

Now there are beech trees in front of the dining room and the teaching building, close to the Haitang beside the wall. Those trees with tall branches and no new leaves.

Luan tree is a common landscaping and roadside tree with red petioles, green leaves, yellow flowers and red and yellow lantern-shaped fruits. In front of the industrial street 16 office building, there is a tall Luan tree next to the magnolia tree. It can blossom and bear fruit, and the fruit can extract oil.

On both sides of the Yellow River levee, there are beautiful Luan trees.

There are Luan trees on both sides of the North-South Avenue on the east side of the experimental middle school dormitory building and on the west side of the underground garage entrance. It's just that these trees were recently moved here last year, and they are still relatively delicate. Over time, they will certainly grow into the most beautiful images with lush foliage and red faces.

There are two rows of trees with big leaves between the complex building and the dormitory building. The trunks are straight and the leaves are palm-sized, with lavender trumpet-shaped flowers on them, similar to those of the phoenix tree. It's called Liriodendron. After investigation, I realized that Catalpa bungeana is also called catalpa, and I can't blame the flowers for being similar! Because its flowers are lavender and purplish red, and it means "purple gas comes from the east", it is called "immortal tree" by Taoism.

Its young leaves can be eaten and its flowers can be fried. It turned out to be a tree, which has practical value as food.

Behind the teaching building and east of the gymnasium, there is also a row of tall catalpa trees, but they are not Liriodendron. The leaves are not as big as those of Liriodendron chinense.

Aesculus aesculus, similar to a rich tree, has five leaves. It is seven, and its name is Aesculus aesculus. It is also called "Borneo Tree", under which Sakyamuni ascended to heaven.

Its moral is strong financial resources. At the entrance of the gymnasium, between the male and female dormitory buildings, there are five or six aesculus.

The trunk of aesculus chinensis can be cut to collect borneol, which is a high-grade natural perfume. In summer, it will produce huge white inflorescences, just like a white pagoda, standing on the green leaves. Its flower language is noble and elegant.

Fringe. In front of the boys' dormitory, near the south window, there are three tassels. This is my favorite tree name, which originally refers to the ear head at the lower end of the scarf, but I don't know why it became a tree name.

The young leaves of tassel can replace tea as a drink, and the buds and leaves of willow also have medicinal value.

Take a closer look at its small flowers, which droop freely like honeysuckle and look like tassels.

In addition to these fresh tree species, there are three familiar Robinia pseudoacacia trees on the west and right of the restaurant, two with white flowers and one with red flowers. Every April, the campus is full of Sophora japonica flowers.

In addition to these tall trees, there are all kinds of flowers and trees with medium height: begonia, cherry blossom, plum blossom, crape myrtle, cedar, Chinese pine and cypress. Most of the flower trees are planted in the graduation memorial forest on the west side of the garage entrance and the north side of the east-west avenue after entering the north gate.

The south gate of the school is the main gate. Outside the door is the school name "Dong 'e County Experimental Middle School" surrounded by red leaves and heather. Behind the school name are three white pines, which are evergreen in spring, summer, autumn and winter.

On both sides of the campus theme sculpture are tall ginkgo biloba, and the next step is to plan the colorful phoenix school emblem pattern composed of bushes.

With the school gate as the axis of symmetry, the plants on the east and west sides are symmetrically distributed, and there are small botanical gardens on the east and west sides, close to the south wall. There are pearl plum, clove, holly, boxwood, peach blossom, red maple, crape myrtle and so on. Trees and shrubs, with flowers and without flowers, red and green, are arranged naturally.

Continue to extend eastward and westward, and there is a row of Sophora japonica in several parking spots paved with square bricks.

On the north side of the road opposite the small botanical garden and Sophora japonica, there are similar trees on the slope. Here, tall trees and low trees are pitching, and trees and shrubs are planted alternately. Seeing the leaves and enjoying the flowers set each other off.

To the south of the sidewalk across the slope is the teaching building, and to the south is the canteen, which is the beech tree and all kinds of begonia, that is, the homophonic "Zhongju" tree.

It is said that there are low shrubs or flowers under the beech tree. Beech trees, begonia, shrubs and flowers together constitute three sets of high, medium and low. The colors of red, yellow, green and yellow are more complicated, estimated but not chaotic, and scattered.

Between the two teaching buildings, there are also high and low, trees and shrubs.

The table tennis court in the northeast corner of the playground is the same color as Fatong, and the older Fatong is on the west side of the playground, that is, there is also a kind of Sophora japonica in the narrow aisle south of the basketball court.

Looking at the campus in the rain from the second floor, my eyes are green. Although the canopy is not big, over time, the campus will be shaded by trees.

Culture is the life tree of the school; Trees are part of the school culture. Tree planting is a kind of culture, a symbol of a school's material civilization and spiritual civilization, and also a school's cultural heritage.

Trees teach people the truth and the meaning of life. They germinate in the warmth and bloom in the hot sun. They are not afraid of storms, nor do they care about rain, snow and frost. They support their unyielding bodies with deep roots.

Trees are not only the embellishment of rendering culture, but also a part of campus life. Tree people grow up before trees, so they should first root down, bury their roots and absorb nutrients. It took several years to take root and sprout, and stood for a hundred years after growing up.

Endure darkness, endure loneliness, in exchange for a hundred years of glory, shouldn't people do this? At the age when you should pay, you should choose to work hard and use the most precious time in your life to lay the foundation for doing the most meaningful things. Only in this way will it take root and sprout in the wild like a big tree, flourish and gain a foothold in its own field.
