My mother just brought me hot water to soak my feet and took the hot soup to the study, so that I could finish it and continue my work.

I heard her sit down beside my bed. I turned to look at her. She looked at me warmly.

I seldom go home. When I come back these days, my mother can't help coming to my study, either bringing me snacks or hot soup, and then staying in my room for a while before going out to do housework.

The older I grow up, the happier I feel that my mother is alive. As long as I go home, the kitchen stove will not be turned off for a moment, I will make soup, cook later, and then be nutritious. Every time I come back, my mother seems to be anxious to put all the nutrients I am not at home into my body first, and then slowly take them out when I store them outside.

When we realize that our parents are old, we don't have much time to spend with them.
