What's interesting about Hengshui Lake?

The interesting places in Hengshui Lake are Jizhou Ancient City Site, Chikulinji Site, Chikulinji Monument, Dashimo, Shijinglan, Xiyuantou Tomb, Qianzhong and Houzhong.

1. Jizhou Ancient City Site: Located in the north of the old city, it extends more than 2,000 meters from the northwest of Beiguan Village to the southwest. For thousands of years, due to weathering and floods, the ancient city wall has been incomplete, ups and downs, intermittent, giving people a sense of desolation of historical changes. The ancient city wall is three to five meters high, 30 meters wide at the base and four meters wide at the top. Now it is a provincial key cultural relics protection unit.

2. Qikulinji Site: located 300 meters northeast of Beiguan Village. According to legend, there was a mountain in the north of Jizhou in ancient times, and a mirage often appeared, and a castle could be seen hanging in the air vaguely. "The morning glow sets off" is like a fairyland, known as Wei Zi, one of the "Three Fairy Mountains".

3. Rear mound: the mound is 14m high, 60m long from east to west and 60m long from north to south, covering an area of 3,600 square meters, and the underground objects are not damaged. According to analysis, it may be a Han tomb. The enclosure of the back tomb is much higher than that of the front tomb, and its buried cultural relics should be richer. This tomb is a provincial key cultural relics protection unit.
