Wei Zi 'ao is a small mountain village, located at the foot of Beilun Reception, surrounded by mountains such as Daoshikeng, Zhangjiashan, Huayan and Fangmen Mountain. There is a reservoir in the middle, surrounded by mountains and beautiful scenery.

The village lives in Aozhong, and Wei Zishu is planted around the village and beside the reservoir, hence the name.

Wei Zi 'ao Village is not named after surnames like other villages in Ningbo. It sounds modern, but it is an ancient village worthy of the name.

This village was formed in the Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 400 years.

Most of the villagers are surnamed Zhao, and their ancestors were anti-Japanese soldiers sent by Anhui.

However, now people come here to play more because of its scenery than history.

Wei Zi Aocun is somewhat similar to Qinshan Village in zhenhai district.

Both are ancient villages, but both win by scenery. Both of them live in the mountains, close to the water. Both of them use the beach near the reservoir to develop scenic spots and make it a camping resort.

The camping base of Qinshan Village is located in the north of Sanshengsi Reservoir and the south of the village entrance. A clear stream passes through it and the scenery is pleasant. Earned a wave of popularity last year.

The camping base of Wei Zi Ao Village is located in the west of Wei Zi Ao Reservoir, east of the village entrance, and there is a clear stream in the middle.

So the two landscapes are similar in layout except for their different directions.

The difference is that the campsite in Qinshan Village is operated by the company, while the campsite in Wei Zi Ao Village is free and pure natural at present. Visitors can bring their own tents and build tents at will, which is more interesting.

Wei Zi Ao Reservoir was built in 1956, with a small area, but the lake is clear and blue. When it is calm, the water reflects the scenery on the four banks, and the scenery is beautiful.

There are many crape myrtle trees growing around the reservoir, and there are many weeds under them. When Lagerstroemia indica blooms in autumn, the trees are full of pink, which is very gorgeous.

Wei Zihua can't be seen camping here in spring, but there are water plank roads, observation decks, lake pavilions and other landscapes around the reservoir, and there are new tourist trails around the reservoir, which is a good place for camping, walking, viewing and walking.

Visitors can stroll, sit idle, fish or barbecue here, or lean against the railing to see the scenery and enjoy the pleasing lakes and mountains.

The supporting facilities here are also complete. There are parking lots, elderly activity centers, special homestays and restaurants outside the camp. Visitors can rest or replenish energy in the activity center for the elderly, or stay in a homestay and feel the days and nights here.

However, there is also a disadvantage, that is, it is too far from Beilun city and farther from Ningbo city.

Although most people have private cars now, go on road trip seems romantic, but it is time-consuming and laborious to get here from downtown Ningbo, and some people toss and turn.

If it is not a camping control, it is not recommended to play here.

However, Wei Zi Ao Reservoir has the fire platform at the main station peak and the rape flower sea in Zhang Yang Village in the east, the windmill highway at Fuquan Mountain in the west, and the Yangshafeng Scenic Area, China Port Museum, Meishan Bay Beach Park and Meishan Hongqiao in the southwest. You can put them together for a one-day tour or a two-day tour.
