The trip to Yantai originated from the graduation run of the ninth 100-person 100-day running group. Together with Fang Jie, the monitor of Class Five, we made an intimate trip across the Bohai Strait at the weekend.

As coastal cities, Dalian and Yantai are two ports with relatively prosperous passenger traffic between Liaodong Peninsula and Shandong Peninsula, and the other is the sea route between Penglai and Lushun. Before the completion of the cross-harbour tunnel, commuting became the most economical and time-saving choice for office workers.

Day 1 day

Fang Jie and I booked tickets by phone and WeChat respectively to inquire about the transportation time of passenger ships. Since the last trip to Penglai, Yantai was five years ago, this time we also specially asked about the time of taking the boat and the best connection time of the subway ferry through WeChat customer service. What makes me feel is that the quality and service quality of service industry practitioners have indeed improved greatly compared with the past. After purchasing tickets, they changed tickets at the ticket office of Dalian Railway Station, took the bus at the pick-up station, and boarded the ship at boarding ladder Port where the passenger ship docked. The next trip will also choose the ferry service of Bohai Pearl and Yuzhu.

We chose four people, all in the upper bunk. In the direction of the bow, we can see the sea and seagulls outside in the cabin I wanted to be awakened by the first sunshine of sunrise on the sea the next morning. Later, the family who came in asked us to change to another room so that the four of them could be in the same room.

the next day

The next morning, I got up very late and stayed up almost all night. The uncle in the room snores loudly. After he left home early, he hardly slept for a while. Two hours later, he began to disembark and took a quick look from the small window. Well, the sun is already high in the sky, and he missed a beautiful sunrise at sea.

After eating the local Shandong bean curd and fried dough sticks outside the pier, I feel that Dalian is authentic and delicious is king.

Take a taxi to nanshan park. The driver is a typical Shandong man, warm-hearted and speaks in one go. He is a bit cool in Liangshan. Maybe every driver has the potential to be a tour guide. It's a pity that we don't need to charter a car to shuttle in a city with convenient transportation, otherwise we really want to save some experience and let the master show us around.

In early summer, nanshan park's Osmunda is in full bloom, red, purple and white, soft as a cloud. I studied Osmunda watercolour with White before. At that time, I didn't understand why the petals were stained by water, and I couldn't imagine the feeling of being as light as clouds. I only know that the color should be from the inside out, from thick to light. When imagination can't be used, sketch is the best way to describe the original appearance of things. Perhaps it is because the local climate is hotter than Dalian, and bamboo forests are flourishing, as if walking through the tropical rain forest, but not so stuffy.

The small zoo in nanshan park is really decorated. Several emaciated Siberian tigers, brown bears, little monkeys and walruses performed, which basically constituted the overall impression of the zoo. Only one Malai, known as the national treasure of Malaysia, is still fat, which should be a collection of thousands of pets in the zoo.

It is estimated that pandas provided by China to foreign zoos are treated at the highest level in terms of accommodation and diet.

Out of nanshan park, I came to Penglai Spring, an old shop famous for its Shandong cuisine. As soon as I entered the door, I was attracted by the antique decoration style and "it's a pleasure to have friends from afar", which conforms to my symmetrical appreciation standard for shops that are old shops. Two people ordered many dishes recommended in the raiders, such as family portrait, nine-turn large intestine, onion and sea cucumber, peach octopus, sesame shortcake, three-fresh pot stickers and four-happy shrimp dumplings, all of which were delicious and in line with local characteristics.

In the afternoon, I met other friends and took the shuttle bus to Mayang Island for a bonfire party. Members from the national 100-member group gathered here to celebrate the graduation run, and also met several friends who have participated in the Dalian Marathon for a long time. Many big coffees perform on stage, and I can't help feeling that people who love running are wonderful in other industries. Witnessed the marriage proposal ceremony of a couple who got engaged by running. The romance under the starlight made me feel that people with the same hobbies would be super happy in the future.

the third day

Start the graduation run the next morning, and the route is running around the island 10km or the whole horse. I couldn't get up in the morning because I didn't have time to see the whole island on the first day. Later, I bypassed the running route and rode on the island alone. The eroded rocks, cliffs and caves are the unique landforms of Robbie Beach Scenic Area in Mayang Island, which were formed by crustal changes and the erosion impact of waves hundreds of millions of years ago, and are rare landscapes. Near noon, we drove out of the island and saw the statue of Qin Shihuang along the way. According to legend, Mayang Island was named after raising horses here during Qin Shihuang's east tour, and was known as "Hawaii in the East" because of its pleasant climate and beautiful scenery.

In the afternoon, I went directly to Yantai Mountain. Because of the light rain, the shuttle bus master took care of me as a foreigner and sent me to the nearest bus station in Yantai. He told me to cross the street and walk for a while. On both sides of the street are bars and restaurants with avant-garde decoration style. After a stop-and-go, I found that this street is Chaoyang Street, one of the top ten old streets in Yantai. There is an ideal bookstore selling Li Jian's albums. After enjoying it for a while, I bought a set of postcards of Yantai Impression, left my backpack in the shop and went up the mountain lightly.

Yantai government's Huimin project has been implemented. 7. After1,I felt very lucky to visit Yantai Mountain for free. However, due to the humid weather and occasional rain, except for the observation deck, Longwang Temple and Martyrs Temple, which are used for worship, they are all closed. The two-dimensional code scan posted at the entrance of the museum also shows parameter errors. Take a group photo with grandma Bing Xin, visit the former sites of embassies and consulates in various countries, and walk along the seaside to Tongxin Bridge and Qin Shihuang Shooting Platform. I feel that the history here is very rich. Compared with Dalian across the sea, there is too much history to understand and explore. Only when I boarded the observation deck did I really realize the artistic conception of the sentence "Dark clouds press the city to remind me". Under the low pressure, I looked at the open sea, the land extended to the sea, the city fanned out not far away, and the buildings were row upon row. I met a 97-year-old girl in the inn, and she is familiar with this street, from midnight food store to ideal bookstore, and then to IF.

Well, I didn't finish until late at night. After saying good night to each other, I am going to save my strength for climbing Penglai Pavilion tomorrow.

The fourth day

Say goodbye to the beautiful bar in Chaoyang Street and take a long-lost trip to Penglai. Penglai was the fairy mountain where emperors searched for immortals in Qin and Han Dynasties, and the legend of "Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea" was also famous for a long time. Later, it was renamed Penglai, and together with Yingzhou and the abbot, it was given the reputation of the Three Gods Mountain on the Sea.

Penglai Pavilion is the main scenic spot in Penglai Pavilion, including Qi Jiguang's hometown, Dengzhou Museum, Ancient Ship Museum and the boundary between Tianheng Mountain and the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea. The natural scenery is beautiful, with allusions and cultural relics. Climbing in the rain, in addition to the weight of the backpack, but also to compete with the wind and rain. Umbrellas can't stop the attack of wind and rain, so we simply put on raincoats, but we will inevitably drown. Walking on the small bridge at sea, I feel the wind coming from all directions. If we stay for a second, we may be dragged into the water.

People familiar with Qi Jiguang will never forget his sentence "I don't want to seal Hou, I wish the sea is peaceful". Going to my hometown in Qi Jiguang in this weather today will inevitably hurt my spring and grieve for my autumn. The ancient forts, city walls and rusty shells in the misty rain are all telling the history of fighting and defending the territory a hundred years ago, which is magnificent!
