The History and Culture of Caotang Town

Caotang Temple was founded in 350 AD, formerly known as the Great Temple. It is the translation place of Kumarajiva, the translator of Japanese Buddhist canon, which has been handed down to this day, and also the root of Japanese Buddhist Japanese Union Sect.

Caotang Temple contains the Pagoda of Babel (stupa) built in 4 13 A.D., the Monument of Dinghui Zen Master written by Pei Xiu, a famous figure in the Tang Dynasty, and other national key protected cultural relics, and the root of Caotang Smoke Well, one of the eight scenic spots in Chang 'an.

Gaoguan waterfall

Gaoguan Waterfall is located at Gaoguan Yukou of Guifeng Mountain at the northern foot of Qinling Mountains, 20 kilometers southeast of Huxian County. Because the towering Xiufeng on both sides of the valley looks like a giant wearing a high hat, it is called Gaoguan Valley, hence the name of the waterfall.

Gaoguan Valley has beautiful scenery. The Qin and Han Dynasties were part of the Royal Shanglin Garden, and the Tang Dynasty became a tourist attraction in the suburbs of Chang 'an Imperial Capital. Waterfalls are the main landscape of the scenic spot. The surging Gaoguan River gathers into a bundle here, and it pours down from a stone cliff nearly 30 meters high and pours into a deep pool, with a sound like thunder. Cen Can, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, once built a villa here. He is diligent in farming and has an indissoluble bond with Gaoguan Waterfall. He wrote a poem describing the waterfall: "The cliff mouth hangs down and is blank. It rains at four o'clock and thunders in the village in winter. " There are statues and Taoist temples of poets here to commemorate the famous geographer Cheng.

There are also famous natural landscapes in Gaoguan Scenic Area, such as Guifeng jathyapple and Zigui Qingming. The beautiful natural environment made the Summer Palace built here in the Han and Tang Dynasties, attracting literati to compose poems and range rover. The poet Li Bai left a poem: "Going out to see Nanshan is to lead the world." Beauty is indescribable, and the green sun is in sight. Sometimes when white clouds rise, the sky will roll. In my heart, I feel very comfortable. When you create a secluded person, you are ruined and dedicated. "

Huxian county qinbei shanshui amusement park

Xi 'an Qinbei Landscape Park is a newly developed natural tourist attraction, located at 1.5km upstream of Gaoguan Waterfall. Nearby are Yan Feng Ancient Temple, Sleeping Tortoise in Longtan, Yuanyang Stone and towering crown stone shaped like a top hat. There are thousands of waterfalls, lying turtle cen, ancient plank road relics and Tiger Leaping Gorge.
