I have long wanted to witness the magnificent Forbidden City. Fortunately, during the summer vacation, my mother took me to the Forbidden City, which I admired.

The Forbidden City, also known as the Forbidden City, is located in the center of Beijing. It is the imperial palace of Ming and Qing Dynasties, covering an area of 720,000 square meters, with more than 70 large and small palaces, 9,999 houses and 5 rooms. It is the best preserved and largest palace in the world.

There is another legend about the house in the Forbidden City! Legend has it that the Jade Emperor in the sky has 10,000 houses. Because the emperor is the son of heaven, he can't have more rooms than the jade emperor, so he is half less than the jade emperor.

Passing through the meridian gate, the first thing you see is the Jinshui Bridge made of five white marble on the Jinshui River. After crossing Jinshui Bridge and Taihe Gate, you come to the three halls of the Forbidden City-Hall of Supreme Harmony, Hall of Zhonghe and Hall of Baohe.

All three halls stand on the white stone platform more than 70 meters high. The platform has three floors and is surrounded by white marble railings. The balustrade is carved with exquisite patterns such as "Two Dragons Playing with Beads" and "Dragon and Phoenix Becoming Auspicious".

The Hall of Supreme Harmony is the largest palace in the Forbidden City, also known as the "Golden Hall". This is the place where grand ceremonies are held. Under the sunshine, it looks magnificent. When you enter the Hall of Supreme Harmony, the first thing you see is a dragon chair placed in the center of the hall, with lifelike golden dragons carved on tall pillars on both sides.

Looking up at the top of the temple, there is a golden dragon in the center of the temple. There is a big dragon ball in its mouth, surrounded by six small dragon balls. They face the dragon chair.

Further on, you arrive at the Hall of Harmony, where the emperor sat before the ceremony, bowed by officials, and then went to the Hall of Supreme Harmony to hold the ceremony.

After watching Zhonghe Hall, I came to Baohe Hall. Baohe Hall is a place for court examinations. There is a platform inside. In the middle of the platform, there is a wooden chair with thousands of dragons carved on it. There is also a crane flying high on each side of the wooden chair. There are many test tables in the temple, and there is a study on the table. After visiting the Forbidden City, I have to admire the wisdom of the ancients, which makes me proud.
